I Refuse To Be Your Luna (Flourish and Harold) novel Chapter 325

Chapter 325 The Message From Stonehedge

Alpha Damian

Amara turned toward the window after the argument with Flourish. I watched her for a moment, then looked at my wife.

Flourish had kept her word. She had not pushed, demanded an apology, or tried to force a bond simply because they shared blood.

My wolf remained alert.

“Give them space.”

“I know.”

I was about to ask Rhys for an update when his phone rang.

He answered, listened for less than ten seconds, then looked up.

“Alpha.”

Something in his voice made me move.

“What happened?”

He ended the call. “F–Tech security just reported an archive breach.”

Flourish turned immediately. Amara remained near the window.

“Which archive?” I asked.

“The isolated one. The historical archive we locked down after the facility records were recovered.”

My jaw tightened.

“When?”

“Seven minutes ago.”

“That’s impossible.”

Rhys shook his head. “It shouldn’t have been possible. The archive isn’t connected to the regular F–Tech network.”

Flourish was already reaching for her phone.

“Who accessed it?”

“We don’t know yet.”

“Then find out.”

Rhys opened his tablet and pulled up the security feed. The isolated archive had its own cameras, entry sensors and wolf–scent identification system.

No ordinary employee should have been able to enter it without a physical clearance key and a second biometric check.

The feed showed an empty corridor.

Then the image froze.

Rhys frowned.

“The camera was disabled for twenty–three seconds.”

“By whom?”

“We’re checking.”

I stepped closer.

“Was the archive door opened?”

“Yes.”

“Physical entry?”

“Yes.”

“Any scent?”

“Security found one.”

He paused.

“It’s masked.”

My wolf growled.

Someone had gone into F–Tech while we were focused on Amara’s records. They had known

exactly where the archive was and exactly what they wanted.

Flourish moved beside me.

“What did they access?”

Rhys pulled up the activity report.

“The reconstructed Stonehedge medical records.”

My wife went still.

“Only those?”

“So far.”

I looked at the list. The attacker had opened the facility floor plan, old patient records, security footage and personnel files.

They had not copied the entire archive.

They had searched for something specific.

“Can you tell what they viewed?”

Rhys nodded. “I’m rebuilding the access trail.”

“Do it.”

His fingers moved quickly across the screen.

The rest of the room had gone quiet. Even Amara had turned away from the window.

After several seconds, Rhys stopped.

“I have the last file.”

“What is it?”

He looked at me, then at Flourish.

“The childhood records.”

Flourish’s face tightened.

“Yes.”

I felt my wolf press forward.

“Show me.”

Rhys opened the file history.

Someone had accessed the footage of Flourish and Amara being taken through the medical facility corridor. They had also opened the personnel records connected to the children’s examination.

Then another entry appeared.

No name.

Only the same access number we had found earlier.

“The number used the archive again,” I said.

Rhys nodded.

“And this time, the person left something behind.”

Flourish stepped closer.

“A file?”

“No.”

Rhys opened the final entry.

A black screen appeared.

I looked at Rhys.

“Lock the archive.”

“It is already locked.”

“Then lock the entire floor.”

He nodded and sent the order.

Within seconds, F–Tech’s internal security system changed status. Doors between departments sealed.

The external entrances shifted to restricted access. Security wolves stationed around the building received the alert through their pack–linked devices.

Flourish was already issuing instructions.

“No one leaves the building until we know how they got in.”

Rhys glanced at her. “That includes senior staff?”

“That includes everyone.”

I looked at her.

She caught my expression. “Don’t.”

“I wasn’t going to say anything.”

“You were.”

I almost smiled, but the feeling disappeared when Rhys pulled up another screen.

“The breach didn’t come through the employee network.”

“How?”

“That’s the problem. The person used the archive’s local access panel.”

“Which means?”

“They were physically close enough to connect to it.”

Flourish frowned. “But security would have seen them.”

“Unless they entered during the camera blackout.”

“Twenty–three seconds isn’t enough to get through the corridor, open the door, access the system and leave.”

“It would be if they already had access.”

The room went silent.

I looked at the archive map.

“How many people have the physical clearance key?”

Rhys checked.

“Four.”

“Names.”

He listed them.

“Me. Cheryl. The head of archive security. And the F–Tech systems director.”

Flourish’s expression hardened.

“None of them were here when we entered the facility?”

“No.”

“Where were they?”

Rhys checked the access logs.

“All four were outside the archive zone.”

That should have narrowed it down.

Instead, it made the situation worse.

“Then the key isn’t enough,” I said.

Rhys nodded. “Someone copied it or bypassed the reader.”

My wolf paced inside me.

“Whoever did this knew F–Tech.”

I looked at Flourish.

“This isn’t random.”

“I know.”

“They knew the archive existed.”

“I know.”

“They knew we were working on the Stonehedge records.”

Her eyes moved to the screen.

“They knew about Amara.”

No one answered.

Rhys reopened the security footage and slowed it down frame by frame. The corridor remained empty until the camera went dark.

“Can you recover the missing seconds?”

“I’m trying.”

He ran the file through another system. A distorted image appeared.
