Selene walked towards me with a whip in her hand. She believed that I would beg for mercy.

Selene cracked a whip in the air. Emitting a harsh sound.

She intentionally seared me, making me fearful and tormenting me.

I just coldly looked at her.

Since she didn’t see the terrified look on my face, Selene wasn’t satisfied at all.

Everyone was afraid of Calista except for me.

‘I am fine. I am a strong woman!” Calista held my hand and comfortingly patted it.

Third floor, Lucian’s room.

Willow fell asleep crying.

Ayla wiped her tears while feeling heartbroken.

Until the maid came up and knocked on the door,”Alpha Lucian, Calista asked you and Ms. Ayla to come downstairs.”

Hearing Calista’s name, Lucian suddenly stood up and asked, “Grandma is back?”

He had a pleasant surprise in his eyes, and walked downstairs after putting down Willow.

Ayla, however, had a completely different reaction.

Her whole being seemed to plunge into an icy abyss.

She didn’t expect that at all. She knew Calista was on my side and she thought Mrs. Calista would stay unconscious till the end of her life.
