Chapter 58
She was covered in blood, which made her look very frightening.
The warriors looked around and fell their eyes on injured Ayla.
Before I could even snarl, they were on me-iron claws of the pack’s enforcers locking around my wrists, their grip colder than winter-biten steel. The silver-etched cuffs seared my skin, the scent of my own singed fur sharp in my nostrils as the warriors dragged me back. A growl tore from my throat, but their eyes were pitiless, their teeth bared in grim duty.
Lucian looked up, his gaze fixed on me, his eyes filled with depth.
I coldly glanced back at Lucian. I knew that he was waiting for me to ask him.
But the last person I wanted to talk in the world was, him.
“Lucian, I was in so much pain. Ayla leaned against Lucian’s chest, crying out in pain.
Lucian’s gaze immediately shifted away from me and back to Ayla.
“I took you to the Pack’s infirmary.” He lifted her up in his arms.
In front of the infirmary.
There were two cars parked.
A car that belonged to Alpha’s warriors.
A Rolls-Royce Ghost.
At the moment when Lucian gently placed Ayla in the passenger seat and held her, I was being forced into the warriors’ car.
Two cars, going in opposite directions.
I was taken into The Alpha’s Judgment Chamber. This was not my first time being there, but it was the first time I had been taken in as a
suspect.
After the warriors brought me in, they left.
I sat on the wooden chair, with my hands on my knees, unable to help but nervously clench them.
In a quiet space, the senses were heightened, and my body uncontrollably trembled.
A sense of panic spread within.
No one came and I was locked up.
The door did not reopen until several hours later.
“Follow me.” A warrior walked in and took me out of the chamber, locking me up in a cell.
It was not until I entered the cell that I realized something was wrong.
But… The door was closed.
The dim cell, a chill swept over. I couldn’t help but shiver. A chill ran down my spine.
I had a feeling of being targeted by a venomous snake.
Just as I was about to turn around, someone suddenly grabbed my hair from behind and pulled it hard. I groaned in pain.
“Let go!” I grabbed the opponent’s hand with my backhand and kicked fiercely at the opponent’s shin bone with my leg raised.
The opponent was kicked in the calf, and as their hand loosened, I broke free.
My body quickly moved backward, creating distance.
“What were you doing? This is the Alpha’s Judgement Chamber!”
