I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 369

The next day, at the Fletcher building.

After the meeting concluded, Finn Fletcher and Lance Dayton walked out of the conference room side by side. Sasha Beaumont was waiting for them in the corridor.

She leaned casually against the window in a pink sundress, a canvas tote bag slung over her shoulder adorned with a cute plush keychain.

Her hair was styled in a half-up do, framing her face with a few loose strands.

When she saw Finn, her eyes crinkled with delight, her entire demeanor brightening instantly.

Her smile was sweet, innocent, and entirely unthreatening.

"Finn," she greeted with a warm smile, stepping forward. "What have you been up to lately? It's been a while."

"Company business," Finn replied, slowing his pace. "What about you?"

"I'm prepping for my exams," Sasha said. "For the Health Commission position. I applied a while ago. It's a rare opportunity since they're only hiring two people."

Finn's footsteps faltered for a fraction of a second, though his expression remained impassive.

"What kind of study materials are you using?"

Sasha's eyes lit up.

"You're actually asking about this?"

"Just curious."

"Finn, are you worried about me?" She tilted her head, looking utterly charming.

Finn's tone remained strictly platonic.

"Isn't it normal to care? I've always seen you as a sister. Besides, I haven't forgotten what happened back then."

Sasha didn't overthink his words. For the rest of the walk, she happily babbled about her study routine and the exact materials she was using.

Finn possessed a photographic memory and silently cataloged every single detail.

Walking beside them, Lance looked like he was about to fall asleep.

"You two sure have a lot to talk about."

Sasha's cheeks flushed. To her ears, the comment held a romantic implication.

But Finn was on an entirely different wavelength. He offered a vague hum of agreement, his mind already plotting a trip to the bookstore Sasha had mentioned so he could buy those exact books for Sienna Sterling.

"Finn, let's grab lunch together," Sasha offered, batting her eyelashes.

Finn checked the time.

"Sure, let's go." He patted Lance on the shoulder.
