I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 59

Sienna had been incredibly exhausted over the last few days.

She crawled into bed early, ready to finally get some sleep.

Then, her phone buzzed.

She checked the screen. It was Landon.

[Sienna, I'm so sorry. The truth is, I've wanted to tell you for a long time that I really like you. I was hoping you could give me a chance. If you just got to know me better, you'd realize I'm actually a good guy.]

At this point, Sienna felt nothing but sheer annoyance.

She quickly tapped out a response.

[I don't like you. Stop contacting me.]

Reading the message, Landon let out a bitter laugh.

It was so blunt, so painfully uncompromising.

Just like Sienna herself.

Yet it was exactly that cold, rational edge that made her so magnetically attractive.

It created a breathtaking contrast with her gentle, elegant appearance.

Landon thought back to their time at the park, how she had linked arms with him, her fingers casually intertwining with his as she leaned against his shoulder with a soft voice.

His finger hovered over the screen. After hesitating for a long time, he finally sent one last message.

[When you grabbed my hand and held my arm that day, I really thought you liked me. I guess I was just overthinking it.]

A long time passed, and Sienna didn't reply.

He gathered his courage and sent another text.

[I know you don't like me, but I also know who you do like. It's Finn Fletcher, isn't it? You're still in love with him.]

This time, the moment the message was sent, a glaring red exclamation mark popped up on the screen.

*You are no longer friends with this user.*

-

Chloe Cross was putting York Fletcher to bed when she saw the video.

Her phone lit up with a message from her best friend, attaching a link with a quick note.

"Chloe, take a look at the guy playing the general. Doesn't he look exactly like your husband?"

Chloe clicked on the video.

Her entire body froze solid.

The woman playing The Spring Muse was Sienna Sterling?

The Muse raised her sword and thrust it at The Commander, and he didn't even try to dodge.

Tears welled up in her eyes, threatening to spill over at any second.

Suppressing her impending breakdown, she dialed Finn's number.

No one answered.

She couldn't take it anymore. She snatched up her car keys and stormed out of the house.

When she arrived at Finn's apartment, she pounded on the door.

Silence.

She hammered her fists against the wood, hitting it harder and harder.

The door finally clicked open.

Finn stood in the doorway, dressed in a dark gray t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows.

"What are you doing here?" his tone was utterly indifferent.

Chloe shoved her phone right into his face.

"Is this you?"

Finn glanced at the video, his brows pulling into a tight frown.

"I asked if it's you!" Her voice pitched dangerously high, sharp and hysterical, like a tightly wound string snapping in half.
