Kylian/Karma's P.O.V.
************
I woke up early the next morning to my alarm going off. I quickly shut it off before it could wake up Bly. Blinking my eyes open, I rolled over into the very woman I was trying not to disturb. She didn't even flinch when I snuggled up to her. Though, I'm sure she's used to us all moving around. She does share a bed with four other people on a nightly basis.
God, I don't want to leave her. Not ever. Today should be easy, but I still have a knot in my gut. No matter how easy it's supposed to be, I know better. Something always goes wrong. I just have to make sure that none of my brothers die and that Bly stays safe. She'll be safe here, behind our walls, protected by our family. They'll all be safe.
"Time for us to get up already?" Ps.ycho groaned from the other side of Bly.
"Shh, don't wake her," I said quietly. "She was up late."
"Yeah, sure, has nothing to do with you not wanting her to be pi.ssed at you," he teased quietly as he untangled from Bly and sat up.
Dragon was tucked between CG and Psy.cho, snuggling against Bly's leg. He was drooling on her, making me smile. CG was planted between her legs, using her thigh as a pillow. I still can't believe either of them find that comfortable. Ps.ycho flicked Dragon's nose, waking him before tugging on CG's hair. Both men groaned.
"Go shower, I'll make sure they get up," Psy.cho told me.
With a sigh and great reluctance, I untangled from Bly and went to the bathroom. I took my time brushing my teeth and letting the shower warm up. I stood under the stream of boiling water, trying to relax the best I could with this fu.cking knot in my gut.
I must have been pretty lost in thought because I never heard the bathroom door open. I didn't even feel the breeze when someone joined me in the shower. I only realized it when I felt slender arms circle my waist.
"You're supposed to be sleepin' Spark," I said gruffly.
"You really thought I'd be okay without talking to you before you left?" she replied.
I let out a rough sigh as I turned around. I was glad she didn't let me go. That was a good sign, right? "I just wanted you to rest more," I mumbled.
"No, you just didn't want me to be all angry with you before you left," she called me out. "But it's okay. I promise to save my anger for when you get back." Then she planted a kiss on my wet chest. "I know that you don't want to tell me everything, but there is something I need to know." "About what?" I asked.
"Cherry," she stated.
"Bly-"
"I know you said you needed to think about it, and you have a million other things on your mind," she rushed out, interrupting me. "I just need to know that you really are thinking about her situation. You know she's going to run the moment she finds out Silent Divine has been busted."
I sighed again, closing my eyes as I thought about it.
"I'll make sure she doesn't run," I told her, looking into those electric eyes. "Diesel has been keepin' tabs on her. He'll make sure she doesn't go anywhere. But I ain't promisin' nothin' right now, Blythe."
"Yeah, yeah," she replied, smiling at me.
"It's not gonna be a pretty situation no matter what," I reminded her.
"Wanna know what I think you should do?" She asked.
"Bly," I groaned.
"What? It's a good idea," she argued. "I just think, after... talking with her, you should tell the club the truth about her and put it to a vote."
"That's not a bad idea, Spark, but it's gonna depend on what she has to say too," I told her.
"Okay, okay," Bly replied, smiling at me in a way that made me weak. "Enough of that then. I'm guessing you guys are leaving right away. So, happiness now until you get back." I chuckled at that. "Might be waiting for you with another cast-iron skillet of Isla's."
"Ma would love to get a video this time, I'm sure," I laughed, holding her closer.
"She might get her wish," Bly teased me.
Fu.ck, this is everything. She is everything.

"Lix wants to meet you before we get started," Luca told me as we waited in the forest, several yards from Silent Divine. Close enough that we can ambush them, but far enough they have no idea we're here. "He knows that your men are there. He has a... special team that understands why your men are there too."
"So, this guy has a whole team of shady cops?" I asked.
Luca shrugged.
"They aren't shady in the way you think. I wouldn't trust them with this if they were," he replied. "Lix is just... a man who understands that the law can't always get justice."
"Oh, a real Batman type," Ps.ycho snorted.
Just then, four black vans pulled up a narrow trail. This part of the forest used to be a camping ground of some sort. Most of it's overgrown though. I'm not even sure Silent Divine realizes what it used to be. I wonder if they used it as a hunting ground back in the day. I mean, who would suspect a church practically on the same property?
