Jealousy Alpha's Regret novel Chapter 141

Chapter 141

Iris’s POV

My phone buzzed next to me, pulling my attention away from the box

of old photos I was sorting through. I glanced at the screen and noticed a notification from the werewolf community group chat.

Someone had posted: Guess what I saw today?

I picked up the phone, curiosity piqued. The last few days had been relatively quiet after the showdown at the Stone family estate. I’d been expecting some fallout, knowing how quickly gossip traveled in

our community.

Please don’t tell me they already edited that video,I muttered to myself, thinking about the witnesses who’d seen Catherine’s meltdown outside the Stone property. My thumb hovered over the

notification for a moment before I tapped it.

I scrolled through the responses in the chat, people expressing their

curiosity with various emojis and questions. Despite the drama that was about to unfold, I felt strangely calm. A weight had been lifted

from my shoulders after confronting Catherine, and whatever came

next couldn’t possibly be worse than living under her manipulation

all these years.

Chapter 141

The original poster didn’t make everyone wait long. A video appeared

in the chat, and I hit play without hesitation. There she was

Catherine Stone, her designer outfit covered in dirt, hair wild,

screaming at the top of her lungs as security escorted her from the property. The footage was surprisingly clear, probably shot from

someone’s car as they drove past.

First time seeing her lose it like this. Eyeopening, gotta say,

someone commented.

I couldn’t help the cold smile that formed on my lips. They still think she’s my mother,I thought, watching more comments pour in about how shocking it was to see the dignifiedCatherine Stone in such a

state.

My attention sharpened when someone else chimed in: Isn’t this going against basic werewolf loyalty principles? Treating your own

pack member like this?

My fingers tightened around the phone. This was exactly the kind of misunderstanding I’d been anticipating. The werewolf community valued blood ties above almost everything else, and many still

believed Catherine and I were related.

Time for the community to know the truth,I decided, opening my

photo gallery.

Chapter 141

It took me just seconds to locate the DNA and werewolf bloodline

testing reports I’d saved. Without hesitation, I uploaded the clearest

images to the group chat, making sure the results were perfectly

visible: No familial relation detected between samples.

Take a look before commenting,I wrote, adding two smiling emojis

that didn’t reflect the storm of emotions inside me. This wasn’t about

happiness it was about vindication after years of deception.

I watched the chat explode with shocked reactions. The person who

had questioned my loyalty was quick to apologize, but I didn’t care

about that. No need to apologize,I thought. You didn’t know the

truth. None of you did.

Setting my phone aside, I reached out to a few trusted friends in the

werewolf community to arrange for the Stone house to be cleaned. I

needed reliable people who wouldn’t gossip about what they found

inside.
