Once Livia was gone, Nightveil dialed one of her subordinates. “What’s the status inside?”

“A total of fifty-six people were drugged, including Lucius and his group. As per the boss’s instructions, the other targets were all clients who have business dealings with the Lincoln family. The drug has taken full effect, and the scene inside is chaotic, with men and women desperately seeking relief. Of course, I’ve recorded everything. It’s been uploaded to a secure drive and will be leaked online tomorrow.”

“Good.”

After hanging up, Nightveil glanced back at the club. To think they would dare use that filth on her boss and the people she cared about. They were courting death! Tomorrow, the Neverending Night would be shut down for good.

“Why would I lie to you?” Vivica tore the scarf from her neck, revealing a patchwork of bruises and scars.

“Look at the marks on my body! I was tormented day and night. If it weren’t for the thought of you two, I never would have found the strength to escape and come back.”

She wiped away a tear and pointed at Larissa again. “It was her! Your sister! She hired people to kidnap and torture me!”
