Chapter 1291
Before, Michael had assumed Yara was simply a slightly more favored pet to Aaron.
But now?
She was far more than that.
So much more that she had actually managed to make Aaron lose his head.
Michael narrowed his eyes.
“Where’s Evan?”
“We still haven’t found him.”
“Then find him. Now.”
Michael’s voice was icy.
After the scene Aaron had caused last night, Michael wanted Evan gone even more than before.
“So his marriage alliance with the Merlin family really isn’t that simple.”
His voice grew colder.
When Aaron had suddenly announced the marriage, Michael had already suspected it had something to do
with Yara.
And apparently, he had been right.
Aaron was doing all of this to protect her.
Going to such lengths for one woman…
A dark, dangerous look flashed through Michael’s eyes.
But the moment he noticed Stella walking in, he quickly concealed it.
His expression softened instantly.
“You’re up this early?”
“I’ve slept really well these past couple of days. I’m not tired anymore.”
A few good nights of sleep really did make a difference.
Back in the town near Sima Mountain, Stella had spent every day exhausted and groggy.
She had been tired all the time, yet somehow she still couldn’t sleep properly.
Looking back now, she realized it was because everything there had felt so suffocating.
Felix had always been around.
Always somewhere in her sight.
Even when he said he would give her time, she had still felt trapped.
During that period, Felix didn’t even have to say anything.
Just having him quietly stay beside her had been enough to irritate her.
The truth was simple.
She hadn’t wanted to stay tangled up with him anymore.
But now, with neither Felix nor Evan constantly around her, Stella finally had toom to breathe.
And with that, the pressure weighing on her seemed to ease too.
“Uncle David had your favorite breakfast prepared,” Michael said.
r
“Okay.”

Stella sat down at the small table.
David stepped forward and took the breakfast dishes out of the insulated containers, arranging them in
front of her.
The yellow peaches in the center of the table had been replaced too.
They were fresh.
Michael looked at her.
“When do you want to start your lessons again?”
Now that Stella had willingly decided to become more involved with the Hogarth family, Most of those lessons focused on the Hogarth family itself and its future plans.
The shooting lessons and other practical training were different.
Those were mostly based on her own interests.
If she wanted to take them, she could.
If she didn’t, no one would force her.
“Today is fine,” Stella said.
“Today?”
Michael frowned slightly.
“Why not rest another couple of days?”
She had only just returned, and he was worried she would exhaust herself again.
He was glad she wanted to learn, but there was no need to rush.
“I’ve rested enough.”
Sometimes that was all a person needed.

No matter how exhausted she had been, a few nights of proper sleep had brought her energy right back.
And now Stella-genuinely felt like herself again.
Michael studied her for a moment, then nodded.
“All right. After breakfast, go with Russ.
This time, everything had been arranged by Michael himself.
The training would be on Stella’s terms.
Then Michael asked,
“Leah used to accompany you during your lessons, right?”
Stella nodded.
“Yeah.”
Leah.
She was the woman Aaron had originally assigned to Stella.
“If you liked having her with you, I can have her come back,” Michael said.
Stella thought for a moment.
“Could Remi come with me instead?”
Michael probably thought having another woman around would make the training easier for her.
Remi had gone off to take care of something after arriving in Eirden.
Stella didn’t know exactly what she was doing.
But she liked having Remi around.
Michael nodded without hesitation.
“Of course.
