Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 178

Chapter 177

“Evan wants her to suffer for this too,” Fiona added. “So there’s no way she’s getting out anytime soon.”

That made Dora feel even better,

“Your brother too. If he’d made her suffer a little sooner, none of this would’ve happened.”

Just thinking about how both the Wright family and the Baileys had had their reputations dragged through the mud these past few days made Dora furious all over again.

She had wanted to deal with Stella a long time ago.

It was Evan who kept protecting her.

Then, thinking of the Summers, Dora frowned. “I just wonder whether Ruby’s going to make it through this mess.”

From what she had heard, things in Eirden were serious.

Hopefully Ruby could handle it. If she really ended up facing sky-high penalties, there was no way the Wright family would help her cover them.

Fiona said, “Don’t worry about that. We should trust her. She’s seen everything by now. She’ll definitely find a way through it.”

Dora did not respond, but she did not disagree either.

In her eyes, what solution could Ruby possibly have?

How had she landed all those projects over the years? Wasn’t it all because of that face of hers?

She had just been too successful before, so no one dared say it out loud.

But if she really fell this time, there would be no shortage of people lining up to throw dirt on her name.

“Call them again,” Dora said. “Make sure that bitch suffers.”

She did not want to talk about the Summers anymore.

If the Summers really collapsed, it would only make things worse for her too.

So her attention went right back to Stella.

All Dora wanted now was for Stella to be taught a lesson.

These past few days, she had made everyone miserable.

If Stella was not properly punished, there was nowhere for Dora’s anger to go.

And now that they had a good opportunity, they were going to make full use of it.

Fiona nodded. “Okay. I’ll call right now.”

She picked up her phone, about to call again.

But then Dora remembered something. “Forget it. Deal with her later this afternoon. Right now, go bring Felix lunch.”

Fiona froze. “What?”

Bring Felix lunch?

Dora shot her a look. “Did you already forget everything I told you? Weren’t you going to learn from Stella and start trying harder with Felix?”

The moment she heard she was supposed to learn from Stella and use that on Felix, Fiona’s face darkened.

In her eyes, all of Stella’s tricks were cheap and beneath her.

She had no interest in copying her.

Dora said sharply, “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Right now is your best chance. You need to win Felix over before Stella gets out.”

That phrase, best chance, made Fiona’s expression turn even uglier.

She still had no idea what Stella had done to make Felix help her over and over again.

She was a divorced woman. She had even lost two children because of Evan.

With a body like that, how could Felix possibly want her?

Still, thinking about how Felix had always helped Stella whenever she was out there, Fiona could not help asking, “Do you think Felix is trying to get her out right now?”

That was what worried her most.

Dora replied, “That’s exactly why you need to poison his mind against her. While she’s not around, you can say whatever you want about her.”

Fiona: “”
