Chapter 180

Felix’s expression darkened instantly.

Jack froze for a split second at the scene, then his face hardened just like Felix’s.

No one had ever caused a scene like this at Hernandez Group.

“And you’re just a receptionist. What gives you the right to stop me?” Fiona snapped, her voice sharp with anger. “What, working in a fancy office building made you forget your place?”

She didn’t hold back at all.

The receptionist had already seen Felix walk in. One hand pressed to her cheek, she stayed silent and looked

at Fiona.

“Tell Felix this. I’ve never brought food to anyone in my life. He’d better not be ungrateful.”

Felix’s voice cut in coldly. “You don’t need her to tell me. I heard everything.”

Fiona froze.

Her face stiffened as she turned around, only to meet Felix’s cold, intimidating gaze.

She had seen that kind of look before, in her brother Evan’s eyes.

But standing in front of Felix now, it still made her scalp prickle.

“F-Felix…”

Her voice came out instinctively, and suddenly her face felt hot.

Before coming here, her mother had reminded her again and again to be gentle with him.

“This receptionist is unbelievable,” Fiona said, stamping her foot like a wronged heiress. “I tried talking nicely, but she wouldn’t let me in.”

“Mr. Hernandez, it’s not-”

“It’s not what? Just be quiet.” Fiona shot the receptionist a glare, cutting her off before she could explain.

Then she turned back to Felix, her tone softening immediately. “Felix, I brought you lunch. It’s all your favorites. Let’s go up to your office.”

Looking at the man in front of her, her eyes had already softened.

She stepped forward, reaching out to hook her arm through his.

But Jack moved first.

He stepped in front of her, blocking her path with a stern look.

Fiona’s expression turned aggrieved again as she looked at Felix. “Felix…”

Felix withdrew his gaze from her face and turned, walking straight toward the elevators.

Fiona immediately tried to follow.

But Jack blocked her again,

The hint of softness on Fiona’s face vanished instantly. “What are you doing? Move.”

At that moment, two security guards walked in.

“Who needs to be escorted out?” one of them asked the receptionist.

“That Miss Wright.”

The receptionist pointed directly at Fiona.

Fiona’s expression changed. She turned to Jack. “Jack, what do you mean?”

Jack didn’t answer. He simply gave a slight nod and followed Felix toward the elevators.

Neither Felix nor Jack had any interest in saying another word to her.

Fiona stomped her foot in fury.

She tried to rush after them, but the two guards grabbed her.

“What are you doing? Let go of me! Let go!”

They said nothing, simply dragging her toward the exit as she struggled.

The insulated container slipped from her hand and crashed onto the floor.

The lid popped open, and the food spilled everywhere

Seeing that only made her angrier.

“Let go of me!”

Damn it.

How could Felix treat her like this?

At the very least, her brother saw him as a close friend. Their families were already in talks about a marriage alliance.

If nothing else, she was practically his fiancée now.

And once everything was finalized, she would be his wife.

Before she could think any further-

The guards dragged her outside and threw her onto the ground.

Pain shot through her palms the moment they hit the pavement.

In that instant, Fiona felt like her dignity had been crushed under Felix’s feet.

“Ah-!” she screamed, her voice sharp with rage.

Chapter 181

What right did Felix have to treat her like this?

Just because she liked him, did that give him the right to humiliate her?

Fiona was so furious her chest rose and fell sharply.

She wanted to argue, to demand an explanation, but she couldn’t even get close to him now.

Seething, she pulled out her phone and called Dora.

Dora picked up quickly. “Well? Did Felix like the food from home?”

She clearly thought Fiona was calling with good news. Before Fiona could even speak, she asked her question.

Fiona was already boiling with anger. Hearing that only made it worse.

“Ah-!”

Her scream shot straight through the phone, making Dora flinch on the other end.

“What’s wrong with you?” Dora snapped.. “What are you yelling for?”

That scream gave her a bad feeling.

Sure enough, Fiona’s voice came through, full of rage. “Like it? He didn’t even touch it!”

“So what if he didn’t?” Dora frowned. “Why are you this upset?”

Honestly.

Just because she brought it herself, did that mean Felix had to eat it?

What if he’d already eaten before she got there?

Did she really need to react like this?

“Honestly…”

“I want Stella dead!” Fiona shouted into the phone, “I want her dead!”

Her voice was hysterical.

Just yesterday, when Dora said she wanted Stella dead, Fiona had hesitated, worried Evan would lose his

temper.

But now-

Now she wanted Stella gone just as badly.

Why wouldn’t Felix even look at her?

It had to be because of Stella.

If Stella disappeared, then nothing would stand between her and Felix anymore.

“Have you lost your mind?” Dora snapped.

“I was thrown out,” Fiona yelled. “Felix had his security drag me out!”

Dora froze. “What?”

Thrown out?

How could Felix treat Fiona like that?

He had always been close with Evan…

No.

Not these past few days.

With Stella involved, the two of them had probably already clashed.
