Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 180

Chapter 179

Fiona snapped, “Then call him and ask when he’s coming back!”

She was furious, but she still had to force her temper down.

The only thing on her mind was that Felix had gotten far too close to Stella, and Stella only dared act this way because Felix was backing her.

So no matter what, Fiona had to win Felix over.

The receptionist might not have liked her attitude, but she also didn’t want to risk offending someone who might actually be Felix’s fiancée.

Even though no one at the company had ever heard that Mr. Hernandez had a fiancée, she decided she still had to check.

“May I have your name, please?”

“Fiona Wright.” She gave her name directly.

This stupid receptionist.

What kind of look was that?

Once she married Felix, the first thing she would do would be to fire her.

Unbelievable.

The receptionist called Felix’s assistant, Jack.

He picked up quickly. “Hello.”

“Mr. Leedon, there’s a woman here claiming to be Mr. Hernandez’s fiancée. She wants to go up to his office.”

Jack paused. “What?”

“Mr. Hernandez’s fiancée, Miss Fiona Wright, is here to deliver lunch and wants to know when he’ll be back.”

The receptionist put special emphasis on the words fiancée.

As she said it, she couldn’t help glancing at Fiona.

The look in the receptionist’s eyes nearly made Fiona explode.

So this was how Felix managed the people under him? Was this really how they treated visitors?

There was a pause on the line.

A long one.

Nearly ten seconds.

The receptionist, standing there in the silence, thought the call might have dropped.

She cautiously spoke again. “Mr. Leedon?”

Then Jack finally said, “Mr. Hernandez says to throw her out.”

Receptionist: “…”

She lowered the phone and looked at Fiona.

Fiona hadn’t heard what Jack said on the other end.

She haughtily smoothed her clothes again. “Well? Can I go wait in his office now?”

This stupid girl really didn’t know who she was dealing with.

A Wright.

In Harbor City, where couldn’t she go?

And this receptionist had actually blocked her for a full ten minutes.

Fine.

She’d remember that.

The receptionist looked at Fiona, said nothing, and picked up another phone.

She dialed a number, and someone answered almost at once.

In a firm voice, she said, “Send two people in. Please escort a guest out.

Fiona’s expression changed instantly.

The receptionist set the phone down.

Fiona’s temper finally snapped. “What do you mean, send two people in to escort a guest out?”

She had heard that exact phrase plenty of times before at Wright Group.

She knew exactly what it meant.

What, was this girl really trying to have her thrown out?

Fiona’s face darkened further.

The receptionist lifted her eyes and looked at her directly. “Miss Wright, would you like to leave on your own, or wait for security to escort you out?”

“You dare have me thrown out? Do you know who my brother is? Evan Wright. You treat me like this and you think you’ll live to regret it?”

The receptionist replied evenly, “I’m sorry, but I’m not the one with the authority to do this to you.”

Fiona froze.

Not her?
