Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 191

Chapter 191

Stella, having no idea it was Old Mrs. Wright calling, answered the unfamiliar number without a second thought.

The moment the call connected, the old woman’s furious voice carne through. “You’re the one who made him get rid of Richard, aren’t you?”

Even through the phone, the anger in her voice was unmistakable.

It was obvious just how important Richard was to her.

Stella let out a soft, mocking laugh. “In the entire Wright family, only Summer has that kind of influence. Me? What power do I have?”

The sarcasm in her tone was impossible to miss.

After all, wasn’t that something the whole Wright family already knew?

For the past six months, the second Summer so much as had a problem, she could summon Evan with a single call.

If anyone in that family had that kind of pull over him, it was Summer.

So what exactly was Old Mrs. Wright calling her now for, teeth clenched in rage?

The old woman’s breathing grew heavier. “Drop the sarcasm. You’re still married to Evan. You should still be calling me Grandma.”

Usually calm and imposing, Old Mrs. Wright had clearly lost control.

Every word dripped with anger and bitterness.

Stella gave a cold laugh. “Back when I used to call you Grandma, you never answered me. What, now you want to hear it?”

When she first married Evan, the entire Wright family had looked down on her.

So in the beginning, whether she called Dora Mom or Old Mrs. Wright Grandma, all she ever got in return was a cold face.

No one ever answered her.

After that, she stopped bothering.

And when she stopped, they still had complaints, always whispering this and that in front of Evan.

Stella had never cared.

If Evan dared bring it up in front of her, her answer was always the same.

Divorce.

Truthfully, her talk of divorce had not started only in the past six months.

Ever since the marriage began, the Wright family had made her bring it up again and again.

It had just gotten worse these last six months.

Especially these past few days.

The entire Wright family was in chaos. Evan had snapped. Even Old Mrs. Wright, who had always stood above everyone else, had been dragged into the mess.

The whole family revered her. No one had ever dared go against her.

And now Evan, because of Stella, had taken care of Richard, the servant who had always stirred up trouble

around her.

That had clearly crossed her line.

She gritted out, “Who wants to hear you call me Grandma?”

Stella’s voice stayed light. “You know by now, don’t you? Then again, with Richard gone, maybe you still

don’t.”

“What are you talking about?”
