Chapter 200
He was still her grandson
No matter how dissatisfied she was with Summer right now, Dylan was still her grandson, still Steven’s son. There was no way she could let anything happen to him.
“I already sent people,” Evan said.
Then he walked straight over to Stella.
He could tell he had worn her out. Fatigue was written all over her face.
He caught her hand and pulled her up from the chair. “Let’s go.
“Go? Go where? The baby’s still in there!”
The moment she saw him trying to drag Stella away again, Dora’s temper exploded.
Leave? Why should he leave?
Evan said coldly, “And if I stay, then what? Am I the one treating him?”
Dora choked. “At least if you stay, you can still make decisions if something happens.”
He shot back, “And what are you, his grandmother, for?”
Dora: “You-”
That ungrateful boy!
What was this now? Just because that woman was tired, he was going to abandon his own nephew?
Dora wanted to keep going.
But Evan had already taken Stella’s hand and started walking away. Summer immediately burst into tears.
Her crying sounded shrill and miserable.
Hearing it only made Dora angrier. “Dylan’s in bad shape, Summer’s not doing well either, and you’re still leaving?”
Lately, Dora felt like every day of her life had become miserable.
But no matter how much noise they made now, Evan had no intention of staying.
Seeing how exhausted Stella was, he simply bent down, picked her up, and carried her toward the elevator.
The whole time, his face stayed cold.
As if no one in the world mattered more than his wife.
But in Stella’s eyes, that made him look especially ridiculous.
Evan left with Stella.

Dora’s chest rose and fell violently. She was so angry she could barely stand, and she dropped heavily onto the bench outside the corridor.
Summer was still crying.
“Stop crying,” Dora snapped.
Crying wasn’t going to make Evan stay.
She had no idea what kind of spell Stella had cast, but after all the chaos Stella had caused these past few days, Evan still refused to divorce her.
And now it looked like he cared about her even more.
Summer looked at Dora through tear-blurred eyes.
And in that moment, there was a coldness in her gaze that looked exactly like her mother’s.
That look made Dora’s heart jolt.
The thought she had just entertained, that she might distance herself a little now that she didn’t know whether Ruby could recover from this, was instantly crushed by that gaze.
Summer said, “My husband abandoned me. My son is fighting for his life. And you’re impatiently telling me not to cry?”
The words impatiently tell hit with a hard edge.
Dora’s heart jumped. “No, I… you…”
Summer’s voice turned even colder. “You don’t say a word when Steven is with Stella, but you’re impatient
