Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 250

Chapter 250

The entire estate seemed wrapped in a cold, suffocating chill.

Dora lunged at Stella again, furious enough to tear her apart. “You vicious woman! I’ll kill you!”

Stella swung and knocked her away with one punch.

Dora crashed to the floor again.

The already explosive tension flared even higher.

“Stella!”

Evan barked her name.

The moment she looked at him, his hand was already raised.

But when their eyes met, his arm froze in midair.

Stella looked at his hand, then back at his face.

She said nothing.

Evan’s breathing grew heavier and heavier.

Seeing his hand raised, Dora screamed from the side, “Hit her! Do it!

“Evan, Steven’s child is dead because of her, and you’re still protecting her?”

The call Dora had just received was about the baby.

She had also sent people out looking for the child these past two days.

The caller had told her the little girl was dead.

Tears streamed down Dora’s face. “Your brother is gone, and we couldn’t even protect the child he left behind. She was the only healthy one.

“The boy is still in intensive care and could die at any moment. And now the only healthy child is gone too.”

Dora’s voice rose into a scream.

And under the weight of those words, Evan’s raised hand seemed ready to come down on Stella’s face at any second.

Stella took one step back.

At the same time, his hand came down.

But because she had stepped back, it never fully landed. His fingertips only grazed her cheek.

Even that slight brush was enough to snap Evan awake from his rage.

Stella looked at him coldly.

When Evan met her completely emotionless gaze, it felt like something inside him hollowed out.

Stella acted as if she hadn’t even heard her. She only said, in a flat, icy voice, “Are we really still doing this?”

As if worried he might not understand, she added, “Do you really think there’s any point in continuing this marriage?”

“Who would want to continue with a vicious woman like you?” Dora shouted, completely hysterical. “After what you’ve done, you still think you can stay in the Wright family as its young mistress?”

She had lost her mind with grief and rage.

The child was dead. She was unraveling.

Without waiting for either Stella or Evan to respond, she ran upstairs alone.

The bedroom door upstairs slammed open with a bang, and then came a series of crashes.

It sounded like Dora was packing up all kinds of things.

Evan felt like a huge piece of his chest had been carved out.

He looked at Stella as if he were looking at a stranger.

After a long moment, he said hoarsely, “How could you do it? She wasn’t even a month old. She was so small
