Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 307

Chapter 307

With a single order from Dora, everything Stella had could be crushed

But that wasn’t the case anymore.

Now she had Aaron behind her. She had the entire Hogarth Group. If she went head-to-head with the Wright family now, the balance of power would be completely overturned.

Up front, Jack glanced in the rearview mirror as Felix put his phone down and let out a quiet sigh.

“If you had found Ms. Rowan sooner, she wouldn’t have suffered so much in the Wright family.”

At the words ‘suffered in the Wright family’, Felix’s already tight lips turned colder.

Sooner…

He should have.

“Maybe,” Felix said quietly, “this is what her mother wanted.”

Jack fell silent.

Right. Even Felix was saying that now.

In his mind, he would watch Stella tear Evan apart-

No.

Not just Evan.

The entire Wright family.

Evan had called Stella countless times.

Patrick had called her too.

She had seen all of them while she was at the waterfront restaurant, but she hadn’t answered in front of

Felix.

Only after returning to Mount Pansworth did she call him back.

Call him back.

That alone was something that never would have happened before, back when they were still fighting.

The phone rang once before Evan picked up.

Before she could even speak, his voice came through, tight with fury.

“You done with Felix?”

Stella answered calmly, “Yes.”

That single word hit like a spark to gasoline.

“Stella, we’re not divorced yet!”

“So what was that? A date?”

He bit down hard on the word ‘date’, like he wanted to tear her apart through the phone..

“Something like that,” she said lightly.

At this point, everything was already shattered.

Whatever remained of their marriage-

Whatever bond existed between him and Felix-

All of it had already been torn to pieces.

So what was one more crack?

Hearing her admit it so casually, Evan’s anger shot straight through the roof.

What was this supposed to mean?

She had agreed not to divorce him, yet turned around and went on a date with Felix?

They even kicked him together-

And they weren’t even divorced yet. What, were they already acting like a couple?

The thought made his head pound even harder than before.

“You shameless pair!” he snapped, losing control completely.

Hearing his furious insults, Stella didn’t get angry.

Instead, she laughed.

A soft, amused laugh slipped out, clear even through the phone.

On the other end, Evan felt like his entire world had flipped upside down.

“You’re still laughing? Stella, how did I never see that you-”

“Before we got married,” she cut in coolly, “I didn’t realize you were so good at playing both sides either.”

His words were cut off.

Stella continued, her tone sharp and steady.

“For half a year, I told you Summer had feelings for you. You said I was imagining things. That she was your sister-in-law.

“I told her too. I said you two should keep some distance. She told me you were family, so there was no

need.”

She let out a faint, mocking breath.
