Chapter 310
After leaving Mount Pansworth, Felix went to meet a client.
By the time he returned to the office, the secretarial team had already reported to Jack that Evan had shown
Jack’s expression darkened. “Why wasn’t this reported first? Who let him in?”
With how things had escalated between Evan and Felix lately, whatever friendship they once had was long
gone.
Evan didn’t have the privilege of walking into Hernandez Corporation freely anymore.
“He forced his way in,” someone explained. “We couldn’t stop him.”
Jack’s brows knit tightly. “When did he arrive?”
“About five minutes ago.”
Jack fell silent.
No wonder there had been no report. There hadn’t been time.
Evan had stormed in too fast. The staff probably hadn’t even processed what was happening.
Jack immediately quickened his pace to follow Felix.
“He’s already in your office,” he added.
Felix paused for half a second.
The air around him turned noticeably colder.
“Should you avoid him for now?” Jack suggested quickly. “I can go handle him.”
Every time Evan showed up now, nothing good followed.
Jack was honestly worried it would turn into a fight.
At this point, Evan was basically a rabid dog in his eyes.
୮
He had wrecked his own marriage, and now he was snapping at everyone else like it was their fault.
As if Stella standing up to him had anything to do with Felix,
Maybe he should take a look at his own behavior over the past six months.
Getting tangled up with his own sister-in-law, yet acting like Stella had no right to react?
What kind of logic was that?
“No need,” Felix said coldly.
“But-”
Before Jack could finish, Felix was already walking toward his office.

As he walked, he shrugged off his coat and tossed it back without looking.
Jack caught it instinctively
Then came the suit jacket.
The tie.
Even with the rough, impatient motion, everything about Felix still carried that effortless, polished elegance.
The entire secretarial team froze, watching.
Was he about to go beat up Evan?
Honestly, even the way a good-looking man prepared to fight… still looked good.
Felix yanked off his tie and tossed it back. Jack caught that too.
The next second, Felix pushed open the office door and walked in.
Jack moved to follow-
Bang.
The door slammed shut right in front of him.
One of the bolder assistants crept over and whispered, “Jack… is Mr. Hernandez about to hit Mr. Wright?”
Jack shot them a look. “Nothing better to do?”
The assistant immediately shut up.
Jack stayed by the door, listening closely, worried Felix might end up at a disadvantage.
This wasn’t a joke. Everyone knew how good Evan was in a fight.
If things really escalated, the entire office might get wrecked.

Inside the office-
Evan was still pale, his stomach aching faintly from earlier.
The moment he saw Felix walk in, his expression turned even darker.
Felix walked toward him, calmly unbuttoning his cuffs.
Evan watched him, a flicker of unease passing through his eyes.
Before he could react-
