Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 311

Chapter 311

“Mr. Wright, calm down. Please, calm down. Whatever it is, we can talk it out. Don’t do this-”

Evan had just taken a punch.

He hadn’t even touched Felix yet.

And now his own assistant was telling HIM to calm down?

Who the hell was supposed to calm down here?

Felix walked in, said nothing, and punched him—

And now he was the one being told to stay calm?

“Let go!” Evan roared.

“Calm down, you have to calm down!”

With Jack restraining him from behind, Felix stepped forward-

And landed another punch.

Evan froze.

Jack froze.

For a split second, the air turned… strange.

Evan struggled to break free, but Jack clung to him like glue, refusing to let go.

“Don’t fight, Mr. Wright!” he kept saying.

“Who the hell is fighting?” Evan snapped. “Let me go!”

Two punches in, Evan’s temper exploded. He was ready to beat Felix senseless.

Steal his wife and then hit him?

The entire office descended into chaos.

Jack was trying to break it up.

Evan and Felix were supposedly going at each other-

But in reality, it was Felix doing all the hitting.

Five minutes later, Evan’s head was spinning. He could barely stay on his feet.

Just as Felix moved to hit him again, Jack rushed in front of him.

“Sir, that’s enough. If you keep going, someone’s going to die.”

Evan felt like every organ in his body was screaming in pain. He shot Jack a vicious glare.

“Are you blind? Who the hell needs to calm down here?”

His language turned foul with anger.

Felix moved again, about to kick him

But Jack grabbed onto his leg. “Sir, enough, really, that’s enough!”

Just look at the state Evan was in.

He couldn’t take another hit.

Evan’s chest burned with rage. “I’m calling the police. What, there’s no law anymore?”

“The law?”

Felix let out a cold, mocking laugh at those words.

With Jack still trying to hold him back, Felix finally sat down.

He pulled out a cigarette and lit it.

“In this city,” he said coolly, “who’s more shameless than you? Who’s ignored every boundary more than you?”

“Me? Shameless?” Evan shot back. “I’m not the one stealing someone else’s wife. What’s shameless about

me?”

“Do you even know why she married you?”

Evan’s voice was still hoarse with fury-

But the moment Felix said that, his gaze sharpened.

Their eyes met.

And just like that-

Evan’s anger faltered.

A flicker of guilt passed through his eyes before he could hide it.

Did Felix… know something?

Seeing him fall silent, seeing that momentary flicker of unease-

Felix’s gaze grew darker, sharper.

“She didn’t even like you in the beginning, did she?”

Evan went still.

Those words hit harder than any punch.

It felt like something inside his chest had hollowed out completely.
