Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 322

Chapter 322

Dora was truly on the verge of losing it.

What kind of madness was this?

On the other end of the line, Evan snapped, “I can’t come back right now!”

And before she could respond, he hung up.

The company was already in serious trouble. The board and major shareholders were all putting pressure

on him.

He was scrambling to deal with the Hogarth Group-

There was no time to manage the chaos between Stella and Dora.

Listening to the dead tone on the line, Dora felt like her head might explode.

She didn’t care what he was busy with.

She called again.

He didn’t pick up the first time.

She called again.

This time, Evan answered, his voice colder than before. “What exactly are you all trying to do?”

He was at his limit.

The company was a mess.

The house was a mess.

Not a single person around him was giving him a moment of peace.

These women-

Why did everything have to be so complicated?

“Let me tell you something,” Dora snapped. “She threw your grandmother’s things out of her room. What do you think she’s trying to do?”

“Do you really still want to keep a woman like that in this family?”

Evan froze for a moment when he heard that Stella had even cleared out the old matriarch’s room.

Shock flickered through him-

followed by a dull, growing headache.

“Get back here right now with a five-billion settlement agreement,” Dora continued. “Give her whatever she wants!”

“I can’t take this anymore.”

This had barely begun, and she already felt like she was losing her mind.

If Evan kept dragging this out

she truly believed she wouldn’t survive it.

This wasn’t bringing a daughter-in-law into the family.

This was inviting disaster.

Evan’s breathing grew heavy. “I told you, I can’t come back right now!”

“Then I might as well die!” Dora broke down. “She almost killed me just now!”

Her voice cracked, emotions spiraling out of control.

Who could have imagined—

that beneath that soft, gentle exterior was something this vicious?

She had hidden it so well before.

And now she couldn’t hold it in anymore?

If she couldn’t endure it, why not take it out somewhere else?

Why cling to the Wright family like this?

And Felix-

No. It couldn’t be Felix.

Felix belonged to Fiona.

The thought of Stella being entangled with him only made Dora angrier.

That damned woman…

When Evan didn’t respond, Dora pressed on.

“She brought a whole group of people into the house. If you don’t end things with her now, we’ll all end up dead at her hands!”

“You’re overthinking it,” Evan said impatiently. “She’s just angry. She’s trying to scare you.”

He was exhausted.

Faced with Dora’s hysteria, his response was careless, dismissive.

But Dora was already boiling with rage.

Hearing that only made her explode.

“You think she’s not that bad?” she shouted. “Evan, what are you even saying? Wasn’t setting the house on fire enough for you?”

Evan fell silent.
