Chapter 327
Hearing Evan’s careless tone, Dora grew even more furious.
At this point, she truly felt like he couldn’t possibly be her son.
What was he doing now?
Throwing her past treatment of Stella back in her face?
That was in the past.
What about now?
Dora gritted her teeth. “Do you think she’s ‘serving’ me right now?!”
If this was what he called serving-
he could keep it.
From the way Stella was acting, she wasn’t here to take care of them.
She was here to destroy them.
That vicious woman…
What had they ever done to deserve this?
So what if they looked down on her?
With her background, who wouldn’t?
And now she was using that as an excuse to turn on them?
It was infuriating.
Evan had no patience left for the argument. “I’ll be back tonight. I’m hanging up.”
The company was on fire.
The Hogarth Group was hitting him from every direction, hour by hour.
He was already on the verge of breaking.
r
“Tonight?” Dora snapped. “If you come back tonight, you won’t even have a mother left!”
The words had barely left her mouth before the line went dead.
Dora froze.
What was that supposed to mean?
He didn’t even react?
She wasn’t just threatening him.
With how unstable Stella was now, who knew when she, might actually strike?

And he thought she was joking?
Dora stormed downstairs to confront Stella-
But she wasn’t there.
Only her people remained in the living room and kitchen.
The mess from earlier was still scattered across the floor, untouched.
That only made Dora angrier.
“Why hasn’t anyone cleaned this up?”
“I-I’ll do it right away,” Mrs. Milan said quickly.
“Why should you?” Dora snapped. “Her people made this mess. Let THÈM clean it.”
Since Stella’s people caused it-
then they should deal with it.
But Stella’s staff didn’t even acknowledge her.
“Are you all deaf?” Dora shouted.
No response.
Dora fell silent, stunned.
So it wasn’t just Stella acting like she owned the place-
Her entire entourage did too?
She forced herself to calm down and asked, “Where is Stella?”
“Our miss is resting.”
Dora froze.
Resting?
Her life really was comfortable.
She had just finished lunch.
Her people were preparing afternoon tea.
And now she was taking a nap.
Meanwhile-
they hadn’t even eaten.
Dora’s chest ached with rage.
She marched upstairs toward Fiona’s old room to find Stella.

But before she could get close-
two staff members stepped forward and blocked her.
“Stella! You-”
Before she could finish, they grabbed her, covered her mouth, and dragged her to the stairwell.
Far enough that no matter how loudly she shouted-
Stella wouldn’t hear a thing.
Only then did they let go.
Dora staggered, furious and shaken.
