Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 518

Chapter 518

Felix picked up a napkin and gently wiped the oil from the corner of Stella’s mouth.

The tenderness of the gesture carried a hint of intimacy, and Stella froze for a second.

The next moment, she instinctively wanted to pull away.

But before she could move back, Felix had already withdrawn his hand because he had finished wiping it clean

Stella felt a little embarrassed. “Th-thank you.”

Felix said, “Back when he was out with his friends, if you called him and he didn’t answer, this was exactly the way he treated you.”

Stella fell silent.

Huh?

It only took her a moment to understand what Felix meant.

So the roles between her and Evan had simply been reversed.

Back when she cared about Evan, he had been arrogant and reckless. He had never taken her concern seriously.

Now, when he wanted to reach her, she was the one acting like the heartless one, casually turning her phone over and ignoring him.

Stella asked, “He’s been giving you a lot of trouble lately, hasn’t he?”

Eyan had been furious in front of her, so she could only imagine he had not been pleasant toward Felix either.

Felix separated the lamb from the bone for her and placed it in her small bowl.

“Eat.”

He did not answer her question, clearly because he did not want to upset her.

What was Evan now?

He was nothing anymore.

Toward the end of the meal, Felix seemed to think of something and said, “He still doesn’t know you’re Aaron’s sister. This is the best time for you to get divorced.”

Clearly, Felix had thought of the same thing Jennifer had.

If Evan found out she was Aaron’s sister, this divorce probably would not be so easy.

After all, Evan had suffered quite a lot at Aaron’s hands during this period.

Once Evan learned that Stella was Aaron’s sister, there was a real chance he might refuse the divorce out of spite.

Stella nodded. “I know. When I go back today, I’ll have someone draft the divorce agreement and get him to sign it first.”

As long as the divorce agreement was signed, there would be nothing left to worry about.

Most importantly, she had to get every last bit of the Wright family’s money into her hands.

She would not leave them a single cent.

Seeing that she was willing to listen, Felix gave a gentle hum of approval.

There were still some matters to handle at the biotech company that afternoon.

After lunch, Felix took her to meet someone before sending her back to the company.

Unexpectedly, Evan still had not left. He was waiting for her outside the company.

The man leaned against the wall, a cigarette between his fingers.

Judging by the two or three cigarette butts at his feet, he had been waiting for quite a while.

Stella kept walking, intending to pass him directly.

But just as they brushed past each other, Evan grabbed her wrist.

“Stella.”

Stella.

How long had it been since Evan last called her by her given name?

Probably ever since they started fighting.

Especially after Stella’s retaliation grew more intense and he lost all patience with her, he had stopped calling her

name without her last name.

Stella glanced at him but said nothing.
