Chapter 519
Aaron had already called her.
On the phone, Aaron had said that Evan was acting like a mad dog, trying to drag Christian down with him.
Evan had no idea what the entire Hogarth Group meant to Stella.
He had no idea that Aaron was her biological brother.
He thought he was going after her by targeting what he assumed was her relationship.with Christian, so he had gone after Christian viciously.
And now, this so-called talk of “old feelings” was nothing more than a tactic he was using because he had failed to pull Christian down from his position.
So at this moment, the way Evan was pretending to speak of affection seemed utterly ridiculous to Stella.
Seeing how accurately Stella had guessed everything, Evan’s expression darkened instantly.
“You know everything?”
Stella said, “Evan, do you think I don’t know what kind of person you are?”
They had lived together for so many years, after all.
Evan suddenly changed the subject. “Did you have anything to do with Summer and Frank?”
Stella fell silent.
Before she could react, Evan continued, “Have you ever met Dr. Zimmerman in private?”
Stella raised an eyebrow. “Dr. Zimmerman? Who is that?”
“Summer’s psychiatrist.”
Stella was silent.
Summer’s psychiatrist.
And now Evan was asking whether Stella had met him in private.
Look at that.
This was Evan.
Sure enough, he was still used to believing Summer first.
Stella let out a cold laugh. “Fine. Just assume I bribed him too.”
There was nothing more to say.
She shook off Evan’s hand. “By the way, are you planning to sign the divorce agreement here, or should I have someone send it to Wright Group?”
“You’re agreeing to the divorce?”
At the mention of the divorce agreement, Evan’s face tightened even more.
Clearly, these past few days, he had been overwhelmed because Stella refused to divorce him.

But now that she was saying she would have him sign the papers, why did he feel no relief at all?
Stella nodded. “Of course. I’m willing to divorce you. I’m just afraid you won’t be willing.”
That sentence immediately reminded Evan of the conditions Stella had laid out.
She wanted everything from the Wright family.
The Wright family estate.
The company.
All of their money.
“I will never agree to those terms,” Evan said through clenched teeth.
If the price of divorce was the Wright family losing everything, no one in his position would agree.
Seeing how firm Evan’s attitude was, Stella was in no hurry. She only gave a faint, indifferent laugh.
“Don’t be so quick to say ‘never’ with such certainty. I think you’ll agree.”
“What else are you planning to do?”
