Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 907

Chapter 907

Back in Harbor City, Summer had cast a shadow over their marriage almost from the very beginning.

Eventually, Evan had devoted all his attention to Summer and the twins.

How could he possibly know what his own wife liked or what habits she had?

Evan fell silent.

Her words left him feeling helpless.

Having his past mistakes thrown back in his face was every bit as painful as he had expected.

Still, if Stella wanted to hold them over him for the rest of his life, he would accept it.

He stepped forward and pulled her into his arms.

“You must be exhausted.”

He knew how difficult the journey had been.

With Aaron and Felix searching everywhere for Stella, Seymour had been forced to take back roads the entire way.

She had spent three full days trapped in a car.

Seymour kept complaining about her temper, but how could she possibly have been in a good mood?

Anyone would have lost their mind after being cooped up for that long.

Stella struggled against him.

“Let go of me.”

Evan only tightened his arms around her.

“No. I missed you.”

More than he could ever put into words.

No one knew how he had made it through this time apart from her.

She had occupied his every thought.

Only after losing her had Evan finally understood how unbearable it could be.

Had he known that protecting Summer in Harbor City would destroy his relationship with Stella so completely, he never would have done it.

It would not have mattered that Summer had been Steven’s wife.

He still would have chosen Stella.

“I’m telling you one last time. Let go.”

Unable to break free, Stella’s voice turned glacial.

But Evan only held her tighter, completely ignoring the warning in her tone.

“I honestly couldn’t think of any other way,” he admitted.

“You shame…”
