Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 936

The moment Evan realized Amos meant Stella was holding the memorial for him, his expression turned strange.

“I…”

“She even made sure to give you a proper send-off,” Amos added. “Guess she was worried you wouldn’t be comfortable in the afterlife.”

Evan said nothing.

“Looks like you still mean something to her.”

Amos knew how to comfort people when necessary.

Felix and Aaron were currently coming after him like rabid dogs, and he still thought Stella was more trouble than she was worth.

But since Evan refused to let her go, the least Amos could do was make him feel better.

That was simply how Amos was.

He could process almost any situation and adapt to it.

Sure enough, Evan’s mood visibly improved.

“When they change my bandages later, tell them to use more medication.”

Amos froze for a moment.

“I don’t think using more ointment is going to make you recover faster.”

“Stop talking.”

Amos stared at him.

So this had finally given him a reason to live.

“Fine, fine. I’ll tell them to use more. Do you want to double your pills too?”

Evan shot him a cold look.

“Fine. Normal dose for the pills.”

Amos shook his head.

He had assumed that if more ointment helped, Evan would want more of everything.

Wasn’t the whole point to recover faster?

“General Litt has lived long enough,” Evan said coldly.

Amos stiffened.

“Wait. What exactly are you planning? Because whatever it is, that sounds dangerous.”

Was Evan seriously thinking about taking General Litt out?

That would not be easy.

“Anyone who threatens her has to be removed.”

Amos stared at him.

“So you’re serious?”
