She barely registered how she ended up trailing after Nina downstairs. Before she knew it, Nina and the others were already in the car.

Tears welled up in Nina’s eyes.

She’d never considered that before.

After all, who’d want a dead person to be their family?

But since Michelle brought it up, Nina was happy to agree.

At least Moira finally had someone who cared about her.

“Are you sure about this?” Nina asked, lifting her gaze to Michelle, searching her eyes for any trace of pretense.

“I want to keep working while studying and bring my grandma to live with me. Now that I have a scholarship, the two of us can live comfortably.

Her grandma might not have been her biological family, but she’d always looked out for Michelle all these years.
