Every unmated male stares at her and I have trouble restraining Logan from reacting, but I also notice that Jax is at odds with Brick. Maybe I can blame it on brotherly over- protectiveness, seeing that I am not the only one reacting to all the eyes on Hunter.

Dinner starts out rather joyful, but Elly has to ruin everything by opening her yap and Alfred is not helping as he agrees with her. “Jayce, keep an eye on Hunter.” I shoot trough the mind–link and I see his attention shifting to my Mate, but what she actually does stuns me even more.

“Elly, what would be the correct way to address a Royal?” Hunter asks with an innocent smile on her face and I hear Gabe mumbling “Uh Oh” through the mind–link. I guess this is worse than her yelling or growling at someone.

Elly explains with a triumphant look on her face how to address a Royal by going down the list, starting with the King. “Elly, if I understand you correctly than the King’s Father in law should be addressed with Prince or Your Highness.” Hunter asks and Elly nods with a smirk on her face.

“Okay and the King’s Pups with Your Highness. Depending on their gender it can also be Prince or Princess.” Hunter looks at Elly and again she nods with a smirk on her face.

“Then there is one more question I have. Do you think it should be considered inappropriate behavior if someone does not use the correct way to address a Royal?” Hunter asks Elly and the way Hunter looks makes me believe that Elly is about to dig her own grave.

“Of course it is inappropriate behavior.” She hisses and now a smirk appears on Hunter’s face. “Alfred, do you know what the consequences of inappropriate behavior towards the King’s family is?” She asks sweetly and now I know for sure she is going to bury them.

Alfred looks at her, but I don’t like the look in his eyes and I can tell that Jason has seen the same thing. “Granddaughter, it is a curtesy one shows to the King and his family. There are only consequences if the behavior is of a sexual nature.” He replies.

“Alfred, I am not your Granddaughter. You turned your back on my Mother after everything your Son put her trough. You didn’t care that my Mother was left behind alone and pregnant, you only cared about how it looked.

However I asked a question and you apparently do not know how the laws actually work. Elly addressing me as Dear is in inappropriate, seeing the fact that I am the King’s Daughter according to the law and for that reason she should address me with Your Highness or Princess Hunter.

Alfred, you have business to conduct on Palace grounds and I will take that in to consideration. For the next ten years you are banned from the Palace, not even a written invitation from the King can grant you access.”

She turns to the Warriors behind her and says, “Peter, Chris and Adam. Escort Alfred out of the Palace and Elly of the Palace grounds, one way or the other. Is that clear?”

“Yes, Your Highness.” The three men respond and within seconds they are removing Alfred and Elly. Hunter sits down again and I tell her I am proud of how she handled that.

She turns to Jayce and says, “That happens when you actually open a book and read the contents of it. You get to hand someone their ass in a different manner.” Jayce bursts out in laughter as he pulls her into a hug.

She tells us about the book she read and that if no one knows where she is to look for her in the Library. “Just make sure to look for the oversized burgundy chair, I will be hiding in there.” She says smiling and we all know which chair she means.

“That was Mom’s chair.” Jason mumbles and she turns around to pull him in for a hug, telling him she will find another place to read. “No, Princess. Mom will be happy that you love it and that you use it. Consider it yours.” He says with his face in her neck.
