Luna Forsaken (Arya and James) novel Chapter 107

107 Hit Me, Arya

Arya’s POV)

The wind moved through the ring. The earth under my feet felt suddenly too real. Too present. My pulse was thunder.

I stared at him, trying to decide if he was mocking me.

He wasn’t.

He took one half-step closer, close enough that our breath touched then held my wrist.

“Hit me, Arya.”

Manu

The words ignited something feral in me, a storm of defiance crashing through the haze of his touch.

I yanked my wrist free with a snarl, channelling every ounce of that pent-up rage into a wild swing. My fist cutting toward his jaw, not holding back this time.

He moved like liquid shadow, dodging just enough to let my momentum carry me forward, but his arm snaked around my waist in an instant, hauling me off balance.

Before I could twist away, he spun me, slamming my back against the cool stone wall of the training

ground.

The rough texture bit into my shoulders through my shirt, a stark contrast to the heat of his body

pinning me there. His chest pressed flush against mine, trapping my arms at my sides, his hips

grinding just enough to lock me in place.

Every inch of him was unyielding, solid muscle and controlled power, his breath coming in steady

rhythms that fanned across my collarbone.

“Release it, Arya,” he commanded, voice a low rumble that vibrated through our connected bodies.

His eyes bored into mine, dark and unrelenting, as if he could see the chaos twisting inside me. “All

that tension you’re clinging to, let it out before it breaks you.”

I bucked against him, legs kicking to find leverage, but he shifted his weight, one thigh wedging between mine to spread them slightly, holding me immobile. The mate pull surged like a live wire, that invisible thread yanking at my core, urging me to surrender. I hated it, hated how it made my skin flush, how my wolf whined low in my mind, craving the dominance he exuded so effortlessly.

“Ignore it if you can,” he dared, his lips brushing the shell of my ear, voice dropping to a husky whisper that sent shivers racing down my spine.

“Pretend the bond isn’t pulling you under, making your body ache for this. Fight it all you want, but we

both feel it.”

His teeth grazed my earlobe then, a gentle nip that wasn’t pain but pure ignition sharp enough to draw a gasp from my lips, morphing into a soft moan as the sensation arrowed straight to my pussy.

Heat bloomed there, slick and insistent, my inner walls clenching around nothing. My wolf purred in approval, traitorous thing, leaning into the contact even as my mind screamed to resist.

Lev’s hand slid down my side, fingers hooking into the waistband of my pants for a heartbeat before

dipping lower. Through the thick fabric, he pressed his palm against my mound, the pressure firm and

deliberate, rubbing in slow circles that targeted my clit with unerring accuracy. Sparks exploded behind

my eyelids; I arched involuntarily, hips twitching toward his touch despite the fury boiling in my chest

“Lev, stop,” I gasped, but it came out weak, my hands fisting in his shirt as I tried to shove him back Pull away. Fight. But my body betrayed me, thighs quivering as he stroked harder, the friction building

a relentless throb that made my knees buckle. My wolf surrendered fully now, a low growl of need
