Margaret Tucker AKA Lord Reaper novel Chapter 149

At that moment, several diary entries were written in the notebook.

"24th, cloudy!

"I'm in so much pain! What do I do! They're all devils!

"I know them. They're threatening me! I'm so scared!

"I can't tell anyone. I can't tell Mom and Dad. I'm afraid people will look at me weird. I'm really, really scared!

"I wish this was just a dream!"

...

"25th, cloudy.

"They found me again.

"They gave me money and told me not to tell anyone!

"I'm so hurt, so hurt!"

...

"26th, cloudy.

"This is the last day I'll write in this diary. Because I'm going to die soon.

"I'm so in pain!

"Today, they even told me I have to be their girlfriend...

"Devils! They're all devils!

"Mom noticed something was wrong. She asked me what's up, but I couldn't tell her the truth.

"I want to cry so bad!

"Those seven guys—may they rot in hell! Monsters like them deserve to burn!

"Mom and Dad, I'm sorry...

That's where the diary ended.

From the words, Margaret could feel Monica's pain and struggle—the despair that had completely crushed her will to live.

After finishing the diary, Margaret's stunning face remained cold.

There was still no warmth or emotion in her eyes.

Margaret picked up a pen, flipped the diary to a new page, and wrote two words: Thank you.

This was a thank-you from the original owner.

When the original owner was being bullied, Monica—this girl she'd never even met—was the only one who stood up for her, who defended her.

Boom!!

The diary in Margaret's hand suddenly burst into flames—blue flames flickered and danced.

"Maggie! What are you doing? Why are you burning the notebook?"

Raymond, catching sight of the fire in her hand, was shocked.

Margaret tossed the half-burned diary into the trash can and watched it burn silently.

The footage proved no one had threatened them—it was all voluntary.

But these boys came from rich, powerful families. They had great lives. There was no reason for them to kill themselves.

And all seven of them together?!

"Investigate! You must get to the bottom of this! My son can't die for no reason!" a middle-aged man said, his face filled with grief but his voice authoritative.

"Yes, Mr. Lorenzo."

This man was Ted Lorenzo—a big shot in Karemin, with immense power. His presence silenced everyone around him, no one daring to speak up loudly.

If this case wasn't solved, their careers would be over.

Just then, amidst the sea of sorrowful cries, a middle-aged woman suddenly burst out laughing.

"Haha! Justice! Finally, justice has been served!

"Good riddance to these monsters! Haha! They deserved to die!"

She was wearing a street cleaner's uniform—her face lined with hardship, clearly from a poor family.

But at that moment, she was laughing wildly, her joy and relief evident.

But as she laughed, tears started streaming down her face.

"My daughter! My poor daughter!"

People around her recognized her.

"Isn't that Monica's mom?"

"Yeah, that's her! Why is she so happy these boys are dead?"
