Chapter 27 From Servant to Avenger
Margaret walked through the garden and entered the villa.
The Tucker family servants saw her, but nobody recognized her at first.
Seeing this elegant young woman in a black dress, the housekeeper hurried to greet her.

She was a heavy-set woman in her forties. “Hello, miss. Who are you here to see? Please come inside and take a seat.”
Margaret looked at the plump housekeeper, her eyes cold, her lips curved in a faint, mocking smile.
Without a word, she walked straight into the living room and settled into the soft sofa.
“Miss, what would you like to drink?” The housekeeper, thinking Margaret was some visiting socialite, tried to be helpful.
Margaret’s sitting posture was casual-lazy yet oozing charm. “Whatever you have.”
When she spoke, the housekeeper frowned slightly. The voice sounded familiar, but she couldn’t place it.
This graceful, beautiful young lady—if she’d met her before, she would definitely remember.
Soon, a fine cup of coffee appeared on the table.
Margaret sipped her coffee calmly, acting as if she owned the place.
Around her, the servants whispered among themselves.
“She’s so beautiful. Her features are perfect.”
“Yep, she’s got that cold, cool vibe-dark and elegant, with a touch of nobility.”
“Most beautiful lady I’ve ever seen. Do you think she’s royalty? Only royalty carries themselves like that.”
Then one servant said, confused, “Doesn’t she look familiar?”
Another agreed, “Yeah, I feel like I’ve seen her somewhere before.”
Someone murmured, “She… she looks a bit like that country girl Margaret.”
“Now that you mention it… the more I look, the more I see it.”
A different servant sneered, “No way. Margaret dressed like a mess. This lady is pure class-how could they be the same person?”
“But she really does look like Ms. Tucker. Especially the facial structure.”
“Come on, Margaret always wore glasses, had long bang and rough skin-she was plain ugly. How could she become this stunning?”
Even the servants hadn’t respected Margaret in this house. That’s how humble and spineless her life was.
“Enough about that country girl. Just talking about her feels gross. She ran off with some man. With one less person to do chores around the house, we gotta pay to bring in another helper,” the housekeeper snapped.

Then the housekeeper approached Margaret and bowed slightly. “Miss, may I ask which family you’re from?”
Margaret held her cup, a frosty, amused smile playing on her lips, as if watching a clown. “Tucker family. Margaret.”
“What?!”
Everyone froze, staring at her with wide eyes.
“It really is Margaret! She used to speak so softly, but-that’s her voice.”
“She really might be that country girl Margaret. She looks just like her!”
“Didn’t she run away with some man? How is she back-and looking this elegant? I honestly thought she was a princess.”
The servants were completely shocked.
Their mouths hung open.
The housekeeper, realizing the elegant guest was actually Margaret, felt utterly fooled. Her face turned red, then pale.
That country girl dared to trick her?
She was the housekeeper-Nichole’s sister-an important person here.
Margaret must have lost her mind. She used to be so meek, following orders like a servant, too scared to speak up. Now she had the nerve to play games with her
“Margaret, you bitch! How dare you mess with me? I’ll teach you a lesson today!”
Thinking Margaret was still the same pushover, the housekeeper charged forward, ready to grab Margaret’s ear and teach her a hard lesson.
As the woman rushed at her, Margaret didn’t flinch. Her gaze turned to ice.
Before Margaret healed this body, the original owner’s left ear was deaf.
Why? Because once, while washing dishes, she broke a plate, and this same housekeeper had twisted her ear so hard she lost hearing in that ear.
When Matthew heard about it, Nichole smoothed thing over, and the housekeeper only got a light scolding.
Seeing Margaret stand her ground, the housekeeper smirked, thinking Margaret was too scared to move.
Thud!
The moment she got close, Margaret moved-fast and brutal. One sharp kick.
The 220-pound woman flew backward and slammed hard into the wall.

The servants stared at Margaret, stunned. Margaret still looked calm, as if that kick required no effort at all.
How strong was she?
Was she even human?
Margaret stood up from the sofa and walked over, her steps smooth and controlled.
“Margaret-you… you bumpkin! You hit me! I’m the housekeeper here! And the sister of the lady of the
house!”
She clutched her stomach, face white with pain, unable to get up.
Margaret stared at her with a heartless gaze, treating her as good as dead. Her red lips parted. “Beatrice Brown. August 4th, 2021. You beat Margaret until her left ear went deaf.”
A bloodthirsty grin tugged at her lips.
“Y-You bumpkin, what nonsense are you saying?”
Beatrice Brown lay on the floor, a fear wrapping around her. Terror rose from deep within.
Margaret turned and picked up a fruit knife from the table.
The blade gleamed cold and sharp.
“M-Margaret! You-you’re insane! You psycho! Don’t you dare touch me! My sister will make you pay if you
hurt me!”
Seeing the knife in Margaret’s hand, Beatrice trembled all over, terrified.
Margaret’s eyes were too chilly. As if she wouldn’t even link if she killed her.
She had a feeling that Margaret wasn’t scaring her-she was actually planning to act on it.
“Help! Somebody help! Why are you all just standing there? Drag this maniac away!”
The servants heard her screams but felt pinned in place by some invisible force.
“Move! Why aren’t you moving? I’ll fire every one of you!”
Nobody moved. Beatrice panicked even more. Her stomach hurt so badly she couldn’t stand, let alone run.
Right now, she was like a trapped animal, watching Margaret approach with the knife, drowning in pure despair.
“Go ahead and scream. It’s going to hurt a lot more soon
Margaret squatted down beside her, pressing the cool blade against Beatrice’s face.

As she said this, her emotionless smile still lingered on her face-stunningly beautiful.
Beautiful yet evil!
But to Beatrice, Margaret in that moment was worse than any demon from hell.
