Chapter 170

Chapter 170

Luna’s POV

The moment I confirmed that I was no longer a virgin, Ivy let out another scream that was somehow even louder than the first one. I instinctively grabbed the pillow beside me and held it over one ear while staring at her with an amused smile. She looked like she had completely forgotten how to behave like a normal human being. Her hands flew into the air before she- started pacing around our room with so much excitement that I was genuinely worried she was going to run into the wall,

I had expected her to be curious, but this was something else entirely. Before I even had the chance to say another word e spun around to face me, and the questions started pouring out so quickly that they almost blended into one another. It was as though she had been storing every bit of curiosity inside herself for days, and now that I had finally opened the door she intended to ask every single thing that came to mind.

“How did it happen?” she asked excitedly as she hurried closer to my bed. She pointed dramatically at me as though she were interrogating a suspect instead of talking to her own roommate. “What even led to it? How was it? Was he good? She stopped herself halfway through before shaking her head with a confident grin. “Actually, scratch that last question,” she said with an amused laugh. “We’re talking about Knox Wilder. There’s absolutely no way he wasn’t good.”

She folded her arms for all of two seconds before unfolding them again because she was simply too excited to stand still. “Luna, I want every single detail,” she continued eagerly. “Don’t leave anything out because you’re absolutely not allowed to skip over the interesting parts,”

I couldn’t stop myself from laughing at how invested she already was in the story. The excitement written all over her face somehow made my own embarrassment much easier to deal with. If anyone else had been sitting in front of me asking those questions, I probably would have hidden under my blanket and refused to answer. Somehow, because it was Ivy. I found myself relaxing instead. I leaned back against the headboard of my bed before letting out a thoughtful sigh, trying to decide where I should begin because the truth was that everything that happened before Knox and I slept together mattered just as much as what happened afterward.

“Well,” I said thoughtfully after taking a moment to gather my thoughts, “it wasn’t like we got to the cabin and immediately jumped into bed together.” I smiled faintly as the memories returned one after another. “We actually spent most of the afternoon outside. Far behind the cabin, there’s this beautiful waterfall hidden deep inside the woods.” I found myself smiling a little more as I remembered the peaceful sound of the rushing water. “We stayed there for hours, and surprisingly Knox didn’t bring me there because he had some secret plan to seduce me,”

I laughed quietly before shaking my head. “According to him, the entire reason he took me to the cabin in the first place was to help me train.” I paused briefly before continuing, “He made me stand under that damned waterfall and practice controlling my strength, and every time I lost control, he’d make me start all over again. It was exhausting, frustrating, and honestly one of the hardest training sessions I’ve ever had.” I looked toward Ivy before adding, “But by the end of it. I actually felt like I understood my own strength a little better, and he was honestly the reason I was able to compete yesterday.”

I paused for a moment as I remembered everything that had happened after the training was over. Somehow, the memory still made me smile without even realizing it.

“When we finally went back to the cabin that evening,” I continued softly, “we were both tired, completely alone, and everything just happened.” I slowly shrugged before looking down at my hands. “There wasn’t some dramatic confession of carefully planned moment. We were awkwardly talking, and one thing simply led to another. I let out a slow breath before admitting the part that had surprised even me. “I think I reached a point where I realized I’d spent so much time denying myself. I kept trying to ignore how attracted I was to him because I thought that was the smarter thing to do

Ismailed sheepishly before looking back at Ivy, “Eventually I decided that instead of constantly depriving myself, I should just stop fighting it. I wanted to get all those lustful feelings out of my system once and for all instead of pretending they

weren’t there

The moment I finished speaking. Ivy ler our another delighted scream before rushing over and throwing both arms around me in an enthusiastic bag She squeezed me tightly before pulling away again with a grin so wide it I honestly wondered whether her cheeks were starting to hunt

“Luna, I’m honestly so happy for you,” she said with genuine excitement shining in her eyes. She looked at me warmly for a moment before another question immediately popped into her head. “Okay, now I need to know one more thing,” she continued curiously. “How was it?” She lowered her voice just a little before adding, “And please tell me he used protection.

I nodded almost immediately because that answer was thankfully simple. “He did,” I replied reassuringly. “You don’t have to worry about that.”

Ivy visibly relaxed after hearing my answer, but the curious look in her eyes never disappeared. She was still waiting for the rest of my answer, and somehow that part was much harder to explain. I found myself drifting back to that right all over again, and before I realized it, I had completely zoned out while smiling at the memory.

I’m probably making a really silly face right now,” I admitted with an embarrassed laugh as I looked toward Ivy. “You absolutely are,” Ivy responded immediately with a playful grin. “I’ve never seen you look that dreamy before.”

I couldn’t help laughing along with her before finally answering the question she had been waiting for.

“It was honestly much better than I expected,” I admitted quietly. “If I’m being completely honest, I think it was a really good first experience.” I smiled softly before adding, “I’d definitely describe it as a good first.”

The second I finished speaking, Ivy squealed happily again before clapping both hands together with obvious excitement. Watching her celebrate something that had happened to me as though it were the greatest news she had heard all week somehow made me laugh all over again.

“I knew it,” Ivy said proudly while laughing to herself. “I absolutely knew he would be good at it.”

Eventually, Ivy managed to calm herself enough to sit comfortably beside me on the bed. Her smile remained exactly where it was, but this time it was accompanied by another thoughtful look that immediately warned me another question was coming.

“So….” she said slowly as she looked at me with obvious curiosity. “What happens now?” She tilted her head before continuing. “Now that you and Knox have crossed that line…” She hesitated briefly before asking, “Are you two dating now, or is this more of a sneaky-link situation?”

I immediately shook my head before she could start making assumptions.

“No, I responded honestly. “We’re definitely not dating.” I shrugged lightly before continuing. “And I don’t even know if I’d call it a sneaky link yet because it’s still only happened once, and I honestly have no idea whether it’ll ever happen again.” I smiled faintly before adding, “The last thing I want to do is hold on to him just because we slept together one time. Besides, from everything I’ve seen, Knox doesn’t seem like the relationship type at all.”

I rolled my eyes playfully before continuing. “This is the same man who actually told me he was gay just to make me lose interest in him.”

Ivy immediately burst into laughter before covering her mouth with one hand. “I still can’t believe he really did that,” she said between laughs as she shook her head. “Every single time you remind me of that story, it somehow becomes even funnier.

I smiled because I honestly agreed with her. “Neither can 1, I responded with a laugh. Looking back now, it feels completely ridiculous

The laughter slowly faded, and Ivy looked at me with a much softer expression than before. “Luna,” she said gently, are you really okay with things staying like this?” She paused briefly before continuing. “After all. Knox was your first. It wouldn’t be strange if you wanted something more now.”

I thought about her question carefully before answering because I didn’t want to lie, either to her or to myself

‘I won’t pretend nothing changed. I admitted honestly “I definitely think I like Knox more now than I did before I smiled faintly because that much was impossible to deny. “But I’m not so attached to him that I want to change his mind about

relationships.” I slowly shrugged before looking back at Ivy. “Especially when I’m not even sure I’m someone who wants a traditional relationship myself.”

Ivy remained completely silent, allowing me to continue speaking without interrupting.

“So for now.” I said calmly, “the only thing I’ve really decided is that I’m going to give myself a genuine chance to get to know all of my mates.” I smiled thoughtfully before adding, “Maybe I’ll even allow myself to experience being with all of them before I decide what I truly want.”

I watched Ivy’s eyes become impossibly wide once again, and I honestly couldn’t understand how they kept getting bigger every time she was surprised. Every time I thought they had reached their limit, she somehow managed to prove me wrong

“Luna,” she said slowly, looking at me as though she wasn’t entirely sure she had heard me correctly, “are you trying to tell me that you actually want to sleep with all five of your mates? You’re going to fuck all of them?”

I couldn’t help smiling innocently before giving the smallest shrug. “As a matter of fact, I responded with a playful smile. “why not?”
