Mated To My Best Friend's Lycan Alpha Brothers novel Chapter 365

Chapter 365: Undeniably Her

(Author’s POV)

"Brother Al~ .... Now, that we are heading to a hospital. You should redress your wound there," Nora pointed out from the backseat.

Brave was a little puzzled by the statement. When they were departing, he had bandaged Alaric’s hand with a fresh gauze himself. His brief gaze landed on Alaric’s palm, the pristine white dressing was now blooming with a red, uneven dot that kept getting bigger. Alaric’s other hand’s thumb was pressing on it, while the person in question seemed to be in a daze.

"Al~ .... Alaric," he called out.

"Huhh? What?" Alaric’s mind was elsewhere. He looked at Brave with a hint of confusion.

"Moon Goddess~ .... your wound has started bleeding again," Nora answered on behalf of Brave, her voice worried sick and high pitched.

Alaric glanced at it and shrugged off casually, "It’s nothing to worry about, Ora, Rave. It is just a measly cut."

"A no would do," Brave spoke, his voice serious. "If it were that trivial, it would have healed by now."

"I agree with brother Rave," Nora backed him up.

Alaric dramatically rolled his eyes and commented, "You two are being way too fussy over something that minor." He showed them his swathed hand from the front passenger seat and assured them, "I am a Lycan. This~ .... I ain’t feeling a twinge of pain by this."

Nora took his palm and pressed the edge without warning, an unconscious groan escaping Alaric’s mouth, "Uggghhhh~ ...."

"And you said there wasn’t even a twinge of pain. You ain’t feeling a thing, huhh, Mr. Lycan," she mimicked his voice, cut to cut.

"Sneak attack on a Lycan wolf. Bold move," Alaric remarked.

"Well, thanks for the compliment. Ain’t I a Lycan wolf as well?" she said, clicking her tongue playfully.

Alaric pinched her cheek with his other hand, "And, so am I." Nora urged Brave to rescue her, "Brother Rave~ .... Brother Al is bullying me," feigning a plaintive sound.

Brave chuckled, listening to their light hearted bickering. Before he could say anything, the ’HOPE HOSPITAL’ sign came into sight. He tapped on Alaric’s shoulder and said, "Let her go. We are here."

As the car came to a screeching halt, Alaric’s nose wrinkled at the sight in front of them. He couldn’t help but comment, "Is this the only hospital left in Esteria? Or are all the humans in this city have weak immunity? Why are there so many?"

"The season’s changing. What do you expect, Al? Normal humans tend to get sick more easily than we do. Don’t compare apples and oranges. They might be fruits, but both have a different constitution," Brave spoke as he took off his seatbelt.

"So, what are we? Apples or oranges? Whatever it is, I want us to be the premium ones," Alaric commented as he stepped out as well.

Nora disembarked the vehicle as well. With the bunch of carefully curated, lush green and blue Hydrangeas in one hand, she was about to take out the fruit basket. Alaric took the bouquet from her and said, "I will take this." He then turned to Brave and said, "You~ .... Take out the fruit basket." Brave did as he was told.

As the trio exited the parking space, the passerbys couldn’t help but look at them with awestruck expressions.

Thanks to their gifted genes, the siblings always attracted attention whether they were in the werewolf world or anywhere else in the world. Now, with Alaric holding the Hydrangeas, giving the robust yet tender aura and Brave carrying the fruit basket carefully, looking like a person straight out of romance novels, while Nora was leading the way like a true lady boss.

The three of them were charismatic even in their simple looking attire. People couldn’t help but gasp. As they passed by two middle aged women, they heard their theatrical conversation, "WOAH! Thankfully, I listened to my daughter and came to the hospital for a checkup. Otherwise, I would have missed the opportunity to see such good looking and clean cut boys. God blessed my eyes."

"Aren’t you seeking a partner for your daughter? She is a doctor and well mannered. Try setting her up with one of them? At least try getting their number," the other lady urged.

The first lady was quick to deny, "No~ ... no. Look at the girl walking ahead of them." She said in a hushed tone. "I think the two twins are her personal bodyguards. She seems to be like their boss. I don’t want to disturb someone on duty."

Alaric’s eyes went wide open seeing Nora like that. He had sensed what she was chasing after and went after her like a flash.

Brave, who was doused in heavy alcohol, didn’t catch a damn smell. The overpowering chemical was clogging the inside of his nasal ridge. Nevertheless, he followed his sibling as well.

Alaric called out to Nora, "Where are you going all of a sudden?"

Nora had already zoned out. Her only aim was to get to that familiar odor. It was light and barely there, but she was sure. The fruity, flowery, natural scent, uniquely belonging to the only person she knew in her twenty years of life, it has to be her. It has to be Myra Miracle.

A glimmer of hope and yearning churned inside her. She knew she had to get to this person.

Due to the overly populated hospital, it was difficult to trace which way the scent had come from. But Nora relied on her instinct and pushed her way through. She somehow went out, her carefully made up hair was now a tangled mess. But she didn’t give two pennies for that. She scanned the place all around, desperation flickering in her eyes. As she was about to take a step forward, an ambulance brushed past her. Alaric pulled her in the nick of a nanosecond and almost lost his temper, "Ora, are you crazy? Where are you running so listlessly? What has happened?"

"Brother Al~ .... I~.... I sensed~ ...." Nora trembled, her eyes turning watery and red. She couldn’t speak properly.

Alaric pursed his lips and patted her back soothingly while giving her a gentle hug, "Calm down, hmm. It’s okay. Take a deep breath and then exhale it."

Nora did exactly that, and after a few rounds of breathing exercises, she finally spoke, "Brother Al, I sensed her scent. She is here. I am sure she is here. It is undeniably her."

Brave arrived and asked with a puzzling expression, "Who is here?"

Nora spoke with tremor, "MYRA, MYRA MIRACLE."
