(Author’s POV)
"This calls for a punishment." Saying this, Alaric stared at her rosy lips. He sounded utterly sexy.
Myra’s breath was hitched. Her entire body froze as he inched closer and closer. When their lips were just a couple of centimetres away, she somehow mustered up some courage and mumbled his name softly, "Al~aric~ ...."
The sudden tenderness hit Alaric straight in the heart, melting it. His grip on her back loosened a little. Seeing the chance, Myra freed herself instantly and pushed him away. She then quickly picked up her package and scurried towards the main campus area, without looking back.
Alaric stood rooted, his eyes following her until she disappeared from his sight.

"Ohhh gosh~ .... I always felt he had something off about him, but I never expected that guy, Nigel, to be such a creep," Yelena remarked.
"Seriously. I was fighting those mean comments and kept reporting them. Now I know why they kept on increasing relentlessly. They were getting paid," Wendy added as well.
"But it’s good that it all came to light. The only frustrating thing is that he didn’t get expelled. I will have to talk to grandpa to intervene. By the way~ .... Myra~ ... have you gotten any idea who it could be?" Yelena inquired with curiosity. "Myra~ ..."
Myra was reliving the moment with Alaric in her mind. When she didn’t respond to Yelena’s calls, Yelena waved her hands at her to get Myra’s attention. She snapped out, startled, "Huhhh? What? What did you say?"
"You seem to be completely out of it. Figures~ .... the whole thing must have been quite shocking for you," Yelena commented. "It is all thanks to the person who collected those evidences and sent it to Prof. Johnson. Such a kind person. Do you have any idea who it could be?"
Myra swallowed, her body tensed, hearing her question. She then muttered, her voice fumbling, "I~ ... I~ .... I don’t know. He said~ .... it was anonymous."
"Hmmmm," Wendy nodded. "In this day and age, there are still such kind hearted and selfless people. I wish we could know who it is." She then changed the topic. "By the way~ .... Didn’t you go to pick up the delivery? Where is the dress I ordered? Show it to me~ ...."
Myra slid the sealed package across the table absent mindedly. Wendy and Yelena were so excited that they opened it instantly and started gushing over it, "Woahhh~ .... Wends, you surely have great taste. It would look impeccable on her."
"I know, I know. That’s why I ordered without thinking," Wendy said, making a smug face. "Now that those nasty rumours and gossip are all cleared up, you can feel at ease and enjoy your dinner."

After that, the day went by in a flash, and soon it was time for Myra to go to dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Garcia. Yelena, too, had to pick Garry and Diana Yates, her grandfather and grandmother, from the airport.
"Are you sure you can go alone? I can drop you," Yelena suggested.
"I have already called for a cab. It will be here in a few minutes. You should go; otherwise, you will arrive late," Myra told her.
"Hmm~ ... Yelena, don’t let your grandpa and grandma waiting," Sandra chimed in. "And when you arrive, don’t forget to give a call at William’s number."
Garry patted her back and asked, "How are you doing, our crybaby? No one is bullying you here, right?"
"Who could bully me? I can just~ .... knock them out~ ... with my single punch," Yelena mumbled while sniffling.
"Tskkkk~ ... what kind of unladylike language is that?" Diana, who was standing just beside her husband, commented. Her nose wrinkled.
Yelena retreated from the embrace. Her head lowered as she said, her voice muffled and subdued, "Grandma."
"What took you so long? Didn’t your grandfather tell you we were coming? Even after that, you got here late? You have no regard for either of us, huhhh," Diana taunted, sounding intimidating.
Yelena licked her lips, her fists clenched in a tight grip as Garry said, "Diana, why are you scolding the child. I am sure it was because of the traffic. Don’t blame Yelena for that."
"Then she should have arranged her time well. What an unorganised person," Diana was relentless with her words.
Garry sighed.
