Chapter 437: When Garry Met The Everests

"Do you think I intentionally hid about Myra from you?" Dion remarked as he looked back at his sister.

After taking a moment, without taking her eyes off, Nora answered flatly, "No~ .... I trust you, Brother Dio. You won’t do such a thing to me."

Though he remained calm on the surface, his grip on the steering wheel tightened as they entered the vicinity of Red Stone University. Brave’s car was right ahead of theirs. As they all arrived at their destination and entered the Larson mansion, someone was already seated inside, with quite a few unfamiliar faces.

They were settled in the living room. The lady, dressed in a refined manner, was wearing an emerald colored formal dress, looking prim and elegant. The man sitting beside her was in a tailored brown, double breasted suit, looking sharp. When the brothers stepped inside, with Elisa meekly following behind, they were all puzzled to see the newcomers.

But when Brave’s eyes landed on the third person, he spoke, sounding uncertain, "You are~ .... the one from two nights ago?"

The girl, forced to dress like a proper lady, looked at the source of the voice. Her mouth hung open, eyes ready to bulge out, as she saw the Everests’ siblings approaching. She was so shocked that she even forgot to utter a sound.

Brave knitted his brows together as he tried to confirm. The girl in front of him was in an off white pleated long skirt and the same colored knit crop top. It was a drastic contrast from the person he saw at the beach. In his mind, her image was that of a messy person, with an oversized hoodie and a slipper missing, not that of an aristocratic person.

Nora had left her phone in the car, so she went to grab it. She was the last person to come inside.

When she walked in, her eyes immediately spotted the guests. As soon as she set her sight on the girl, she uttered with immense surprise, "You are~ .... Yelena~ ... Yates?"

Yelena’s eyes widened. Her state was like a deer caught up in the headlights. Though she remained mum, her mind was popping up with chaotic thoughts, ’What are they all doing here? I came with grandpa and grandma so that I could visit Fabian and ask him about his health. I insisted on waiting for him. But~ ... I think my choice has backfired on me. What do I do now? What should I say?’ She clasped her fists so hard that her nails were digging into her palm, reddening the skin.

"Are you~ ... familiar with one another?" Brave queried, feeling even more puzzled. That night, in the car, neither Nora nor Yelena seemed to know each other. Then, how does Nora know the girl’s name?

"Yes, they are," Garry was the one who spoke this time. "I suppose you are Mr. Brave Everests?

Brave nodded with suspicion. Meanwhile, Garry continued, "Your sister used to be an acquaintance of my granddaughter when she used to live in Damona."

"They, too, are from Damona?" Elio mumbled under his breath.

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance. The four pillars of Everests’s Empire and the one and only princess," Garry said. "I am Garry Yates, CEO of Yates’ Organisation."

"Yates’ Organisation~ .... this sure rings a bell," Dion commented.
