Chapter 475: Her Sister’s Boyfriend

Amelia lunged forward, not wasting any time as she pulled the hoodie off the man. Her pupils dilated, in shock, in confusion.

Vienna, sort of yowled, her voice sharp, shrieky, "Amelia~ .... what do you think you are doing?" Stomping her feet towards Amelia, she yanked at her arm. The action was so sudden that Amelia ended up losing her balance and came crashing down on the dirty land. Her already messy clothes were stained with mud. The scale of her tattered appearance dropped significantly.

"I~ ... I~ .... thought~ ... he was," Amelia’s voice came out small as she stared at the person’s face. From the build of the person, to the feeling she was having, she thought it was Denver, but fortunately~ .... It wasn’t. There wasn’t even the slightest bit of similarity between the two. There was even a scar on that person’s right cheek.

So, I~ ..." her voice broke at the end.

Vienna looked down on Amelia with an unreadable expression. Her hands folded, her tongue poking her inner cheek. After a second or two, she finally decided to crouch down and said, her voice much softer than before, "Lia~ ... how many times have I told you~ ... not to listen to anything Perry says. She is jealous and is being a bitch by feeding you lies. She wants to draw a wedge between us. Didn’t I tell you~ ... she was the one who spread those nasty rumours about you in your school. That humble girl~ .... she has always been envious of your life. Don’t listen to anything she says. She is just trying to take advantage of you."

Amelia looked at her Vienna, "I am sorry. You and Denver~ .... Hahh~ .... There is no way. Perry~ ... she must have had a misunderstanding. Yes, a misunderstanding. You two~ .... There is no way you will betray me." She clutched Vienna’s hand and repeated an apology, "I am really sorry." She then looked at the boyfriend and added, "I am sorry to you as well, Mr. Halo. Halo still didn’t say a word as Vienna patted the dorsal side of Amelia’s hand in comfort, "Lia~ .... let’s not listen to outsiders. It will only ruin our sisterhood, hmm. Come~ ... let me take you back." She then turned around and said, "Babe~ ... we will be on our way, ummm."

She helped Amelia up, like a loving sister, dusted her clothes, took her hand and walked away.

Myra gazed at her retreating figure. She noticed Vienna glancing back at her boyfriend, giving him a wink. A smile crept up on the one named Halo. But it was loving, it was a wry, extreeeeemly~~~~ .... creepy smile. It made her skin crawl for some reason.
