Chapter 155
A blush crept onto Aurora’s cheeks as she turned to Heath, raising her glass in gratitude, “Thank you.”
With a gentle smile, Heath responded, “There’s no need for formality. We’re family, after all.”
Aurora’s blush deepened, eliciting a round of cheers from the group.
Heath added nonchalantly, “I’m merely stating the obvious.”
Alaric leaned back, feigning offense, “And what about me? I offered my home for this celebration!”
As Aurora was about to stand up with her glass in hand, Heath gently pressed on her hand and said, “Alaric’s mom mentioned she’s been really hitting it off with the daughter of some real estate tycoon lately…”
Alaric immediately stood up with his glass raised, exclaiming, “Aurora! My place is your place! Come over whenever you want! Happy Birthday!”
Aurora, amused yet speechless, thought to herself about Alaric’s swift change of demeanor.
Zane too rose, glass in hand, a smirk on his face, “Happy Birthday, Aurora!”
Aurora, smiling warmly, clinked glasses with him, “Thank you.”
Alaric was stunned; it seems Aurora really had some skills to tame Zane.
After dinner, they went to a karaoke room to sing. Aurora curled up, watching them playfully roughhouse while Daxton specially sang a song for her, earning thunderous applause with his beautiful voice.
At midnight, Cheryl and Vespera brought in a birthday cake, and everyone sang, urging Aurora to make a wish and blow out the candles.
Standing before the cake, Aurora clasped her hands together, wishing for the well–being and happiness of those around her. For the first time since her rebirth, her heart was free of hatred, filled only with a love for life.
She vowed to live well in place of the original Aurora.
After blowing out the candles and cutting the cake, Cheryl playfully smeared cake on Aurora’s face, turning the room into a messy, joyful scene with flying cake and cream.
Heath, for once, let go of his composed image and was pinned down by Alaric and Lysander, getting a dollop of cream on his face.
Kieran tried to rescue Heath, but was stopped by Jay. Knowing he was no match for Jay, Kieran wisely fled.
Zane dabbed some cream on Cheryl’s nose, making her scrunch it up adorably. He smiled softly at her reaction.
In return, Cheryl smashed a piece of cake on Zane’s face.
Zane was speechless, thinking incredulously if he really couldn’t handle Cheryl.

Chapter 155
Chasing after Cheryl in a messy cream fight, she yelled, “Zane, are you crazy?”
Zane retorted, ‘Do you have a cure?
Dayton watched their antics with a gooly grin, and approached Aurora, asking, “Aurora, I heard them calling you the future Mrs.
Fairbank…
Aurora, slightly tipsy, nestled on the sofa eating cake, just smiled without responding.
Heath had said they’d wait a year before opening their hearts to each other.
Daxton scratched his head, “Heath treats you really well; we all can see it.”
Aurora smiled and nodded, “I know.”
She realized no one else would ever treat her as well as Heath.
Her cautiousness was not only for herself but also for the sincerity in Heath’s heart.
Many were drunk, and everyone hadn’t been this happy in a long time.
Especially Zane and Cheryl; the weight of the banquet had been heavy on their hearts, thinking it was the end of the world, but Aurora brought them back.
This was more than a birthday party; it was a celebration of their victory over the madwoman Sophia.
Alaric and the others, letting loose in the garden, were more than CEOs, bodyguards, or stars they were friends needing to unwind.

Heath sat on the steps, watching Aurora in the rocking chair, holding a wine bottle and giggling happily.
Alaric lay next to Heath, asking, “Heath, when will you confess to Aurora?”
Heath shook his head, “No rush.”
Alaric, a bit drunk and still hung up on Elowen’s indifferent treatment, asked, “If Elowen gives up, will she like me?”
Heath, sipping his drink, doubted it.
Alaric, lying with his eyes closed, dreamt of the possibility, but Heath urged him to sober up.
Heath stood up, approached Aurora, and gently said, “Rory, let’s go home,”
Aurora blinked sleepily, “Leaving already?”
“Yes, time to go,” Heath replied.
Aurora, acting coquettishly, asked Heath to carry her.
Heath smiled, lifted her in his arms, and walked out to where Kieran had the car ready.

Ensuring everyone else was taken care of, Heath placed Aurora in the back seat and told Kieran to inform her grandfather that Aurora had drunk too much and would stay at my house tonight.
After Kieran made the call, they drove off towards Heath’s house.
