Me And My Billionaire Husband (Aurora and Heath) novel Chapter 305

Chapter 305

Aurora sat there, honest and upright, when Lysander suddenly asked, Aurora, did you know Heath hasn’t talked to Eamon for three days now?

Aurora blinked, looking down, and said, I didn’t know.

Lysander sighed, Eamon was indeed reckless this time, but Heath saved his life. The two of them are real brothersinarms, with an extraordinary bond. I hope you won’t hold a grudge against him.

Aurora nodded without speaking, and Lysander knew continuing would only make her more upset, especially since she had risked her life for Heath while

Eamon had been contemplating how to execute her.

Lysander left the infirmary. Aurora looked out the window at the clear, cloudless weather and decided it was a good day for a walk.

Wanting to change her clothes, she only had the tank top and long pants she’d taken off, which had been washed and returned to her. After changing, Aurora put on an overcoat from the base and stepped out in short boots.

She hadn’t enjoyed the sun properly for many days. Wandering to the shooting range, it seemed some recruits were practicing shooting, and Aurora watched

with keen interest.

The recruits all noticed Aurora; it was hard not to. The girl in simple black pants and an oversized coat, making her appear even more delicate and exquisite,

barefaced with her hair down, looked beautiful and sexy.

The instructor, noticing the recruits distracted, shouted towards Aurora, This is a shooting range! Bystanders are not allowed!

Aurora smiled, strolled over, and asked, Can I join them for practice?

The instructor eyed her small frame, The guns here are modified; you can’t handle them.

Aurora, tilting her head and eyeing the guns, retorted, How do you know without trying? Let me try; I’m a sharpshooter!

Intrigued by her claim, the instructor yelled at the recruits, Hey! This lady says she’s a sharpshooter, wants to challenge you guys!

The recruits shouted, Come on! Let’s see!

Aurora walked over, took a gun, aimed at the target, and fired, hitting the fourth ring a rather dismal performance.

The recruits and the instructor laughed, That’s a sharpshooter? I can shoot better!

Aurora wasn’t offended. She was injured, and the modified gun felt unfamiliar at first.

After adjusting her aim, she fired again, hitting the ninth ring.

The recruits were stunned, shouting, Just luck! Definitely just luck!*

Then, Bangshe hit the tenth ring.

Before the recruits could react, Bang, bang, bang-three consecutive shots, all in the tenth ring.

Aurora dropped the handgun, proudly boasting, Still call it luck? Told you I’m a sharpshooter!

The recruits and the instructor, as if they’d seen an alien, surrounded Aurora. She looked delicate but was incredibly skilled.

Aurora, unreserved, started chatting with everyone, quickly becoming one of the group and even teaching them how to shoot, hold steady, and aim.

When Eamon arrived at the shooting range, it was much livelier than usual. Frowning, he asked, What’s happening over there?

An underling checked and reported back, Miss Aurora is over there, claiming to be a sharpshooter or something.

Eamon frowned, wondering why Aurora wasn’t in the infirmary recovering but instead here?

Approaching, he saw Aurora surrounded, being asked about aiming tips, her incredible shooting skills, and whether she was a mercenary.

Sometimes Aurora answered sweetly, other times joking around, as if she knew everyone there already.

Seeing Eamon approach, everyone instantly quieted down, returning to their places to study guns and shooting, no longer daring to fool around.

What are you doing here?

It’s nice out, went for a walk, Aurora smiled.

So, to the shooting range? Sharpshooter?he inquired.

Aurora, looking straight into his eyes, said, Yeah, I’m the famous Olivia. Is being a sharpshooter that strange?

Eamon paused, thinking she’d stay behind Heath, protected. As long as Heath was there, no one would dare question her identity, and she wouldn’t have to explain anything to Eamon.

But here was Aurora, openly admitting she was Olivia.

I’ve heard the head of the KING organization is quite the marksman. How about a shooting match? Best of five,Aurora said, looking at Eamon.

Eamon, inexplicably agreeing, said, Alright.

Guns were brought for them, and everyone watched the match between their revered boss and the newly revealed sharpshooter, Aurora. Who would win was

a matter of great interest.

Eamon and Aurora took their positions, aimed, and fired simultaneously.

Five shots, and Eamon consistently hit the tenth ring!

The recruits cheered as if it were their victory. Eamon was their unbeatable alpha, his decisions and abilities unquestioned.

After counting Aurora’s score, everyone was stunned. She also hit the tenth ring, tying with Eamon!

Thanks for the match!Aurora smiled.

Eamon, looking at her, said, You’re too kind.

Aurora returned the gun to the recruits and approached Eamon, looking towards the distant target, Back at Weydon Manor, I wasn’t holding a handgun, but a genuine Barrett sniper rifle. If I wanted, I could have killed Heath.

Eamon listened quietly without speaking. Aurora smiled, continuing. Of course, you might think I have ulterior motives for staying by Heath’s side, but don’t forget, you’ve made things difficult for me several times. Back then, I could have easily shot you in the head.

Eamon turned to her, anger in his eyes, seemingly upset by her audacious words.

Aurora held his gaze, But I didn’t, Eamon. I never intended to harm anyone. I could have stayed silently behind Heath, but you’ve been investigating for days. So. I’m telling you directly, I am Olivia. The only reason I’m with Heath is that we love each other. That’s all. I’ve taken many lives in my life, but I’ll never aim my gum at Heath or his friends. Lysander told me, you and Heath, are true brothersinarms.

Eamon gazed into Aurora’s clear eyes, stunned for a long while before he silently nodded, admitting, Yes, Heath once saved my life. I can’t repay him. If anything happens to him, it’s my fault.

Aurora smiled and said, That’s wonderful. Heath is lucky to have a friend like you.

Eamon shook his head, No, I’m the lucky one. And he’s truly fortunate to have you.

Before Aurora could reply, she saw Heath being supported by Kieran, walking towards them. The previously imposing girl suddenly seemed to lose a few

levels of her aura.

Heath walked up, sidestepping Eamon, whose expression turned a shade darker. He kept quiet, fully aware that he was to blame. If Heath was upset, he had every right to be.

It hit him then, Aurora had saved his life too. After that one punch from Heath, they’d patched things up, but now, after three visits to the infirmary without a word from Heath, it was clear. Heath was seriously pissed, upset that Eamon had treated his fiancée like a felon and thrown her into an interrogation

room.
