Chapter 262
Aurora and Cheryl and their best to prasunde, vel Vespers was still scratching her head in nuderialon, awving. E off just giving you guys some ideas, I can’t possibly design Cheryl’s gown…

Vespera! What can’t you do? You’ve got to believe that designing isn’t about how many awards your ve won. You have talent and a passion for design. Haven’t you always been frustrated that you couldn’t devote yourself entirely to designing? Now, Cheryl and I are offering you an opportunity. Just give us the mod, and you’ll be able to showcase your skills. Youre going to be a world–renowned top designer one day! Aurora encouraged her.
Aurora’s words were incredibly tempting. She loved design and fashion. If it hadn’t been for her family insisting she study business, the would have chosen art or design without hesitation.
Vespera, moved by the determined look in Aurora and Cheryl’s eyes, admitted that she was really just struck by inspiration today and couldn’t guarantee she could perform like this consistently.
However, Cheryl’s success was bound to make her the darling of many designers. As the key decision–maker, Aurora surely understood that
e would be to hire a renowned designer for Cheryl, not a novice, or rather, an untrained student like her.

“But…” Vespera still hesitated. Agreeing would mean taking on not just her own ideas, but the weight of Cheryl’s acting career and the development of Aurora’s studio.
If she wasn’t good enough, it could ruin both of them, her best friends, which explained her dilemma.
“Enough with the ‘buts‘! Let’s just take a gamble. I bet Vespera was born to be a designer!” Aurora declared.
“Yes!” Cheryl nodded in agreement. “I bet Vespera will win too!”
Vespera nodded, “Alright then! If we’re going to die, we’ll die together!”
Aurora smacked her mouth, saying, “What are you talking about! We’re going to succeed together!”
Vespera chuckled, “Right, succeed together!”
The three of them even opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate Vespera joining the Fairview Studio, officially becoming one of
Fairview’s designers.
After the film festival, Cheryl’s stock soared, even gaining some fame in Europe. The media incessantly interviewed her, all wondering
which master designer was behind the stunning gown.
While everyone speculated, Aurora kept the news under wraps. Revealing Vespera’s involvement would only make her a target. Besides, most of Vespera’s designs were still drafts and not formally released, meaning that based on this one gown alone, Vespera wasn’t yet on

Chapter 262
Aurora gave Vespera a month to design at least two more gowns for Cheryl to showcase to the media. Only then would it be time to announce the arrival of a Fairview designer!
The trio didn’t rush back to their country. After Cheryl wowed the international media, she was invited to shoot a perfume advertisement. Aurora changed their plans to allow Cheryl to shoot the ad first.
Meanwhile, Vespera spent her days either cooped up in the hotel working on designs or wandering outside looking for inspiration, seemingly fully embracing her identity as a designer.
During Aurora’s absence from the capital, Kieran, under Heath’s instructions, thoroughly investigated her recent itinerary.
In the executive office of Fairbank Corporation, Heath was looking through documents with a visibly displeased expression. He asked, “So, Aurora said she was going on a business trip to another city, but she actually boarded a flight to coastal City A?”
Kieran nodded, flipping through photos to show Heath. In them, Aurora was dressed in sportswear, wearing a baseball cap, with Jay, her bodyguard, wearing a similar hat, by her side.
“Miss Aurora has gone to City A, accompanied by her bodyguard Jay,” Kieran stated.
Heath remained silent for a long time. He had held onto a sliver of hope that Aurora was unaware of this operation. However, the evidence before him made it clear. None of the three individuals involved looked like Aurora, which left the identity of the mysterious
sniper unquestionable.
Who exactly was Aurora? Was she Olivia’s insider and helper in the country? Or was she simply collaborating with Olivia to disrupt the
Whitmore family’s affairs?
“Last time, I asked you to investigate Olivia and the Whitmore family together. What did you find?” Heath inquired.
Kieran shook his head, “There’s not much to find. The Whitmore family appears to be clean businessmen with no underworld connections, nor any ties to international assassins. However…”
Kieran hesitated, unsure whether to continue. Heath glanced at him, “However, what?”
“The Whitmore family’s eldest daughter’s fiancé, Dominic Ashcroft, the CEO of Abyss Group, seems to have his own power, but it’s very well–hidden and difficult to investigate, Kieran revealed.
He and Eamon had discovered during their investigation that among many talented young men, Isabella’s father specifically chose Dominic Ashcroft as his future son–in–law. Since Dominic’s engagement to Isabella Whitmore, the Whitmores’s business had been thriving, even seeing some competitors voluntarily withdraw from contention, with Dominic playing no small part in this success.
Heath’s mind raced as he remembered Aurora’s reaction to Dominic and her close connection with Olivia. He pondered, what if the legendary ace assassin Olivia wasn’t an international hitwoman? What if she was part of Dominic’s force? What if she was Dominic’s trump card?
Aft

like other international mercenaries. But these were all assumptions, no one could prove Olivia was a free agent.
If Olivia targeted the Whitmore family repeatedly for a reason, such as her feelings for Dominic, then everything would make sense!
Look into Dominic. Have Eamon use all available resources to investigate every event he’s attended and every close associate he has! Whatever you find, I want to know immediately!” Heath commanded.
For some reason, he felt he was on the verge of uncovering the truth and that he would soon grasp it.
He hoped that when the truth came to light, Aurora would turn out to be just a minor pawn behind Olivia, with no special status or
danger.
