"Thirty minutes..."
Serena nodded. "That's enough."
Graves blinked. "Enough for what?"
Serena ignored him, turning to Lydia. "Go grab the backup whiteboard from the lab."
Though confused, Lydia did as she was told.
She hauled the heavy whiteboard outside.
Serena pulled a black marker from the tray and stood before the board. "Since we have time to kill, and you're all so interested in this calculation, I'll walk you through the logic behind the Core Neural Algorithm."
"I have thirty minutes to break down the foundational logic for you."
"How much you actually comprehend will depend entirely on your own abilities."
The competitors craning their necks for a glimpse of the tablet completely froze.
They stared at Serena in absolute disbelief.
What... what did she say?
She was going to break down the core algorithm and teach it to them?
An open lecture?
This was a competition!
They were her rivals.
Wasn't she afraid they'd use her logic to beat her in this round?
Seeing them rooted to the spot, Serena's cool eyes narrowed slightly. She tapped the marker against the board. "What are you waiting for? Gather around."
"G-Goddess Serena, are you serious?" a competitor asked, swallowing hard, his face flushed with excitement. "This is the core data for the neural experiment. You're just going to give it away?"
Serena offered a lazy, arrogant smile, her crimson lips curving in amusement. "So what if I teach you?"
"Can you honestly beat me?"
The sheer arrogance of her statement was staggering.
But it was incredibly badass.
The competitors didn't just admire her anymore—they worshiped her.
"She's trying to sabotage us!"
"Why are you gathering around? Leave! If you believe her, you're doomed!"
But...
Not a single person paid them any attention.
In fact, someone impatiently snapped, "Dreamscape Initiative, if you don't believe her, get the hell out! Don't ruin this for us."
"Listen or don't, just back off!"
"Don't drag us down with your stupidity!"
"Even if she hands us the algorithm, we still can't beat her. She's just being incredibly generous!"
"She's willing to teach because she's confident. Unlike you guys—you're toxic, so you think everything else is toxic too!"
The crowd forcefully silenced them.
The competitors looked at the two girls with utter disdain.
