Messing With Her? Are You Crazy! novel Chapter 1175

Before her passing, Grandma Aria had secretly slipped her a tightly wrapped parcel.

She had repeatedly warned that it was for her eyes only, and under no circumstances was it to fall into the hands of the Wynn family.

At the time, Serena assumed it was the transfer agreement for the Wynn Group shares.

Back then, her only thought was to fulfill her grandmother's dying wish: return to the Wynn family and reunite with her parents.

She wanted to establish herself within the family so her grandmother could rest in peace.

But she knew those shares would inevitably spark Marianne's fury.

Because of this, Serena had no intention of taking over the shares. Instead, she buried the parcel directly behind her grandmother's gravestone.

But now...

She knew about the Obsidian Sun.

She knew that the mysterious Shadow Sovereign behind the organization actually knew her grandmother.

Thinking back to the look in Grandma Aria's eyes when she handed over the parcel, Serena realized it hadn't been a simple final arrangement.

There had been unspoken words hidden in her gaze.

A sharp gleam flashed through Serena's eyes.

Her intuition told her one thing.

The item her grandmother left behind was absolutely not just the Wynn Group shares.

It was highly likely connected to the Obsidian Sun.

This was her true purpose for coming to Blackwood Creek.

Serena stepped forward and crouched behind the gravestone.

She dug into the dirt with her bare hands.

It didn't take long.

Her fingers brushed against the parcel she had buried years ago.

Clearing the surrounding soil, she pulled it out and brushed off the dirt.

She unwrapped it layer by layer.

Inside, there was indeed a fully authorized, signed, thumb-printed, and notarized share transfer agreement.

It stated that Grandma Aria was transferring all her shares in the Wynn Group entirely to Serena.

Signed: Aria Wynn.

The date was the day before her sixteenth birthday.

Serena stared at the document, a lump forming in her throat.

The Ancient Oak had allegedly been planted by her grandfather himself.

It was a tree that held countless memories for the two of them.

Clutching the note in her hand, Serena turned and strode purposefully toward the Ancient Oak.

Not too far away.

The four members of the Wynn family, who had been stealthily tailing her, were hiding in the tall grass.

"What is she digging up over there?" Marianne craned her neck.

Patrick frowned. "Is that... my mother's grave? What on earth is she digging up at my mother's grave?"

Marianne's eyes lit up with greed. "Do you think that old hag left something else for Serena? If she did, we deserve a cut of it!"

"Come on, let's hurry up and follow her!"

As the four of them chattered.

They completely failed to notice Serena casting a sidelong glance in their direction before walking off with the note.

By the time they poked their heads back up.

There was no sign of Serena anywhere.

Serena made her way straight back to the place where she had lived with her grandmother for sixteen years.
