With a mouthful of dessert, Hazel nodded. "Basically. Serena asked me to dig into some intel on Whitecliffe Harbor."

Distracted by the incredible food, her walls were completely lowered, and she didn't think twice about the question.

"The Gray Zone might be wild, but at least the Ghost Alliance keeps a lid on things. As long as the Alliance is around, any psycho who wants to stir trouble has to calculate if they'll survive the fallout."

"If things get too out of hand, one word from De—cough, Serena, and the grunts fall in line out of sheer terror."
