Before the man could finish his sentence…
Adrian suddenly pushed Hailey off him and strode quickly toward the silver-and-black motorcycle.
His steps were surprisingly frantic.
Thrown off so abruptly, Hailey nearly twisted her ankle in her high heels.
If the woman behind her hadn’t steadied her, she would have ended up in a heap on the ground.
Hailey finally regained her balance, her beautiful eyes wide with disbelief as she stared at Adrian’s back.
“Adrian…”
Adrian… had actually pushed her?
He pushed her away for another woman?!
“Don’t get the wrong idea, Hailey,” the man in the studded leather jacket explained. “Adrian’s just freaking out because he saw his idol. Don’t get mad at him over something so small.”
*Idol?*
*A woman?*
Seeing her displeased expression, the man continued, “That bike over there… the super cool one, that’s his idol’s personal ride. But she retired from the circuit four years ago, and no one has been able to find a trace of her since.”
“After four years, her bike is back in action. It’s no wonder Adrian’s reacting like this.”
Hailey’s eyes fell on the woman with the silver-and-black helmet.
Her fingers clenched into a fist.
Champion, idol… what a joke.
That was just a tactic the woman used to seduce rich heirs and play with their feelings!
Who knows, maybe during those four years she was gone, she’d hooked a rich husband and married into a wealthy family.
Hailey watched as Adrian reached the silver-and-black motorcycle, her expression hardening.
She lifted her chin slightly, a sweet, gentle smile gracing her lips. “To be someone Adrian considers an idol, she must have something special about her. I’d really like to meet… that racer.”
As she spoke, she started walking toward Adrian.
While walking, she added casually, “But, that racer has been retired for four years, which means she hasn’t touched a bike in four years. So… the current owner of that ‘legendary bike’ might not be her at all.”
“You never know,” the man in the leather jacket said, his eyes on the pigtail-wearing girl on the back of the bike. “If it’s her… there might actually be a chance of getting Skye to come out of retirement.”
But Hailey didn't hear him.

Serena rested one long leg on the ground, lifting her gaze slightly to look at the track ahead through her helmet.
