Cassandra was speechless. "You three just get more and more uncivilized! No wonder you hang out together!"

Josefina shrugged, "Oh, and you’re so refined? Why do your friends change like a revolving door?"

Mandy smirked, "Those aren’t friends, just passing strangers."

Damita laughed, "Nothing but your parade of passersby!"

Cassandra stood there, her face burning with embarrassment. Josefina pressed on, "Had a lot of those passersby, haven’t you?"

Frustrated, Cassandra stomped her foot and stormed off. Staying longer would just mean more humiliation!

Josefina clapped her hands, satisfied. "She sure can run fast."

Mandy called, "Josie, come chill with us for a bit. Don’t waste your energy on someone like that.”

Damita nodded, "Cassandra thinks she’s all that because she’s in some medical society. But I believe in you, Josie. You’re the one with real talent."

Mandy agreed, "This isn’t all bad. Now we see them for who they really are. Next time, we won’t include them. That’ll show them!"

Josefina sat down, followed by Mandy and Damita. She felt a wave of gratitude for her friends. "Mandy, Damita, thanks."
