Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 1234

“What’s going on?”

Josefina filled Oliver in about Logan. There was no use hiding it; the truth would come out anyway.

Oliver’s eyebrows shot up.

“Why would Logan go to Percy’s? Did they already know each other?”

She shook her head. “Logan said he ended up at Percy’s place by accident. He had no idea Percy lived there.”

A total fluke—one of those weird, random run-ins.

Oliver frowned. “That’s… a little too convenient.”

She caught the doubt in his voice and gave him a look. “Oliver, you really don’t think it’s just a coincidence, do you?”

He sighed. “Josie, it doesn’t add up, but it’s what happened. I have to accept it.”

Josefina didn’t say anything else. Clearly, Oliver still had his doubts.

She leaned back in her chair and let out a heavy sigh.

“Josie, you can’t let this get to you. Even if you’re not worried about me, you’ve got to think about the baby, right?”

She rested her hand gently on her stomach, making herself breathe out the tension.

“I’ll be fine. Promise. I just need to chill out. Actually… I’m suddenly craving hot pot. Can we go?”

Oliver smiled. “Of course. Let’s go.”

He didn’t hesitate—he was already grabbing his keys, ready to take her.

They’d barely stepped up to the hot pot restaurant before running into Dorian, who was just leaving after a business meeting.

Dorian hadn’t seen Josefina in a couple of days, so the moment he spotted her, he walked right over.

“Hey, sis. Coming home for dinner tonight?”

Josefina grinned, playful. “If you’re asking, you must finally have some free time. Then yeah, I’ll come home.”

Dorian laughed, shaking his head—he knew she was teasing him for always being so busy.

He really wished his brothers would take on more of the family business, but neither of them was interested.
