Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 1250

Josefina pulled her hand back and spoke honestly, “Kania, you haven’t been sleeping well lately. It’s starting to take a toll on you. I’ll write you a prescription—it should help with the insomnia.”

Kania let out a sigh. “Josie, you really are amazing. You hit the nail on the head. I’ve been tossing and turning every night, barely sleeping, and my appetite’s gone too.”

“It’s because you’ve got too much on your mind,” Josefina said gently. “Too much stress, too many worries.”

Josefina glanced at Sylvie, and without a word, Sylvie grabbed some paper and a pen. Josefina made a quick note, and Sylvie instantly understood what she needed.

Josefina started jotting down the prescription. “Take five doses for now—one a day. Boil each in three cups of water until it’s down to one cup,” she explained as she wrote out the instructions.

She made sure to include every detail, from how to prepare the medicine to how to take it. That kind of thoughtfulness left both Sylvie and Kania feeling incredibly grateful. Having a friend like Josefina really was a blessing.

Kania suddenly remembered the beautiful piece of jade she kept at home. She decided she’d send it over to the Harrison family for Josie as a thank you. If she tried to give it to her now, Josefina would definitely refuse—better to send it to her house and explain later.

After a bit more chatting, Josefina and Oliver got ready to leave.

“I’ll walk you out,” Sylvie offered, standing up.

Sylvie led Josefina and Oliver to the front gate. As they approached, Josefina spotted a man getting out of a car. She squinted for a second.

Wasn’t that Rhett?

Rhett noticed her too—and immediately clocked Oliver standing beside her. Every time Rhett saw Oliver, he wanted to ask the same thing:

Oliver, what do you even see in Fiona? Is it her attitude? The way she stirs up trouble? Or is it just that she’s beautiful—nothing more, nothing less?

No matter how many times Rhett ran it through his head, it always felt like Fiona was the lucky one in this relationship. With a guy like Oliver, she probably wakes up smiling every morning.

Rhett didn’t hesitate—he marched right over. “Sylvie, what are they doing here?” His tone sounded like he was about to interrogate someone.

Sylvie grabbed his sleeve and shot him a sharp look.

Seriously, Rhett—don’t start.
