Dorian let out a grunt. "Mom and Dad are trying to set me up with someone. I wasn't having it, so now they're just piling on the guilt."
Lena chuckled. "Dorian, you're still young. No need to rush into anything."
Dorian glanced at her, curious. "Why are you up so late anyway?"
With a playful smile, Lena replied, "I made some snacks and thought I'd drop them off for Mom and Dad."
"No point now, they're in a bad mood and probably won't eat. Try tomorrow instead."
Lena nodded, not wanting to stir up any trouble. "Alright, I'm heading to bed. You should get some rest too."
Dorian acknowledged her with a nod and walked away.
...
Back in his room, Dorian paced, his mind racing. After some contemplation, he picked up the phone.
"Check the past five years, see who Lena's been in contact with."
As he hung up, a chill ran down his spine. How had they made it through these years? Could Lena, their cherished sister, really be the culprit?
...
Word of Dorian's investigation quickly reached Josefina. Her phone buzzed, and she relaxed upon reading the message.
"Everyone's poking around; this could alert the enemy. Luckily, Luke's guy took the job, saved us some hassle."
Oliver quipped, "Two paychecks for one gig."
Josefina rolled her eyes but soon drifted off to sleep.
Listening to her even breaths, Oliver watched her with a contented smile. His Josie, always this happy.
True to his word, Oliver kissed her forehead and slipped out the window.
As he made his exit, he spotted Lena on the balcony, talking on the phone.
Lena!? What was Oliver, the big shot, doing at the Harrison house? And why was he sneaking out the window?
It didn't take Lena long to figure out that Oliver was there for Josefina.
Without even glancing at Lena, Oliver jumped down and walked off into the night.
