Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 516

"I'll protect you, but only if you're still my sister. Lena, you're not my sister anymore! It wasn’t Josie who said it—it was Grandma. Grandma just woke up and hasn’t even spent time with Josie. Why would she accuse you and not Josie?”

Reid’s words were deliberate and precise, cutting through the air with undeniable logic. Lena stood there, speechless, unsure how to defend herself.

She tried to say something, but Reid’s icy tone stopped her in her tracks. “Don’t come looking for me again. I don’t consider you my sister anymore. We haven’t called the cops on you—that’s mercy enough!”

If there was evidence, would Lena even be standing here?

Too bad Regina was gone, with no way to confront her.

Zhao Guifang was also gone; otherwise, how could Lena have escaped unscathed?

As Reid disappeared from her view, Lena’s frustration boiled over.

“Josefina, this is all your fault. I wish you were dead!”

Clenching her fists, Lena stormed off.

...

In her car, Lena made a call.

“Reid wouldn’t listen to my explanation. He doesn’t believe me. Your plan can’t go ahead.”

Lena was seething. Everything she was about to gain had been stolen by Josefina!

“Why did you lose your cool, Lena? If you hadn’t left the Harrison family, if you hadn’t gone to that company, you wouldn’t have been kicked out!”

The voice on the other end was filled with rage, making Lena feel a chill.

Her eyes darting around, Lena gripped her phone, her hand trembling.

Garrett was behind them, occasionally snapping pictures with his phone.

Hattie turned and teased, “Garrett, what are you doing back there, sneaking around like a thief?”

Garrett laughed, “I’m taking pictures of you two. We haven’t had a family photo yet. Let’s get Carter to bring his camera one day and take a proper family portrait.”

Hattie’s eyes sparkled, “You’re pretty smart, Garrett. That’s a great idea. Later, we’ll call Carter and have him come home for a bit so we can take a family photo.”

All photos of Lena had been put away.

All of Lena’s other belongings were also packed up, erasing her from the Harrison family.

The trio arrived at the restaurant entrance, where Josefina spotted Lauren and Ruby.

They looked down and out, like lost souls wandering without a home.
