"No doubt about it, it's gotta be Josefina. I can't think of anyone else," Shay fumed.
Dominic sat on the couch, forced to acknowledge Josefina's undeniable capabilities.
"What if it's Oliver? How could Josefina pull off something like this?" Dominic questioned.
"Dom, you weren't here. You didn't see what Josefina's capable of. Why do you think Lena got caught? It was Josefina pulling the strings all along. Without Josefina being dealt with, Lena would've never been exposed," Sydney chimed in, her voice thick with resentment towards Josefina for all their failed plans.
Shay's glare was venomous, and even the foul mood emanating from Sydney seemed to pale in comparison.
"Mom, I suggest we deal with Josefina ASAP. Her presence is a major roadblock to our plans," Shay proposed, clearly agitated at the mere mention of Josefina.
Dominic looked at Shay with a smirk, "Weren't you the one who tried to take Josefina out yesterday? Seems like you didn't quite manage, huh?"
Shay was silent, realizing Dominic was just stirring the pot.
Not backing down, Shay retorted, "And what about you, Dominic? If you're so capable, why don't you get rid of Josefina yourself? With Oliver not in Westwood, who's to stop you?"
Sydney, watching her children bicker, snapped, "Enough with the squabbling. Instead of wasting time arguing, we should be figuring out what to do next. The Harrison family route is a dead end for now. Sitting around doing nothing isn't an option."
Shay and Dominic fell silent, both heeding Sydney's command.
...
Evan and Ayala were planning to leave Westwood and head back home. Alivia's health had stabilized, and they were taking the old lady with them.
Upon hearing the news, Mandy rushed to the hospital.
