Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 823

Josefina was on her way to the pharmaceutical company, her mind set on getting there. But halfway through, she felt a shiver down her spine—a sure sign someone was tailing her.

Quickly assessing her surroundings, Josefina decided to switch up her plan. She turned on her heel and headed in the opposite direction, her instincts on high alert. The footsteps trailing her confirmed it: she wasn't imagining things.

As she rounded the next corner, Josefina picked up her pace, hoping to shake off whoever was following her.

"Dorian, where'd she vanish to? Did she just sprout wings?" one of the men whispered, clearly baffled by Josefina's sudden disappearance.

"Let's keep looking, man. How did she just disappear like that?" his buddy replied.

But just as they were about to move on, Josefina nimbly leaped from between two buildings, landing right in front of them. Arms crossed, she flashed a cheeky smile, "Looking for me?"

The men, startled by her ghost-like appearance, instinctively glanced upwards. Did she actually come down from up there? Could she have just flown?

They exchanged bewildered looks, their eyes wide with disbelief. "How'd you get up there?" one of them stammered.

"Aren't you just a student? You know martial arts?" the other questioned, their voices tinged with disbelief. They'd been warned about Josefina’s fighting prowess and ruthless streak, but they hadn't really bought it until now.

Josefina smirked, taking a step back, "Don't yell at me; I've always had a thing about loud dogs."

The leader growled, "Are you calling me a dog?"

"Well, if the shoe fits. If you can't catch what I'm saying, maybe I'll just carve it on your tombstone?" she shot back with sass.

The men were left speechless. What a sharp-tongued gal!
