Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 847

The match that was supposed to happen today got pushed to tomorrow because a big shot in the medical world showed up in Westwood. He threw this fancy dinner, and folks from both the medical and business circles were bending over backward to snag an invite. So, the match got bumped to make way for the big shindig tonight.

Josefina decided to take Hattie to her company to pick out dresses. She had already designed evening gowns for the whole family for the event. "Dad, Mom, Dorian, Reid—take your pick. I'm going to take Mom over to the women's section to try on the gown I made for her."

"Josie, you go ahead. I'll help your brothers find something. We're guys—anything that looks decent will do. But you and your mom should really go all out and look stunning," Garrett said in a serious tone.

Josefina chuckled at her dad’s straightforwardness, finding it quite charming.

Hattie chimed in with a straight face, "You boys better dress up too. If people find out you're Josie's brothers and you look sloppy... well, think about it. You wouldn't want to make Josie look bad."

Josefina couldn't help but laugh at how humorous her parents were.

Even so, Dorian and Calix agreed with Hattie.

Dorian piped up, "Yeah, I'll find something sharp. Can't let my sister down."

Reid joked, "Honestly, with our looks, we could make burlap sacks look good."

Hattie, dragging Josefina along, said, "Josie, let's find something fabulous and leave them to it."

Josefina had designed a stunning deep blue gown for Hattie, tailored to fit her perfectly. With every step, the dress shimmered beautifully.

Hattie looked at the fabric, both surprised and delighted, "Josie, this design is just perfect."

"Mom, I'm so glad you like it."

And Hattie really did love it. "Josie's designs are always on point. The more I look at it, the more I adore it."
