Finley never saw it coming—running into Livia while overseas. As soon as he spotted her, he sprinted over, catching her just as she was about to drive off.

Livia, focused on tailing someone, reluctantly unlocked the passenger door, letting Finley jump in. He settled into the seat next to her and stole a glance at her while she drove. With her chic pixie cut and stylish black trench coat, she exuded an air of cool indifference.

Finley led her inside, and they slipped into a booth next to their target. Finley tried to place earbuds in Livia's ears, but she dodged him. "I'm just trying to help you listen in. Don't worry," he assured.

Livia took the earbuds from him and put them on herself, keeping her silence. It was obvious she wanted to keep her distance from him. As they listened to the conversation next door, Livia remained aloof, treating Finley like he wasn't even there.

Finley, sitting beside her, also tuned in to the chatter. Not long after, their targets wrapped up their discussion. Livia took off her earbuds and stood to leave, but Finley reached out and grabbed her arm.

"If you leave now, he might spot you. Just sit down for a bit, maybe have some coffee," he suggested.

Livia shrugged off his hand, her eyes sharp as daggers. "Keep your hands off me," she said sharply before walking away.

Outside, she had already texted Luke to keep an eye on their target. She was worried about getting caught if she followed any further.

Finley caught up to her, reaching out again, but Livia grabbed his arm and effortlessly flipped him onto the ground. He landed with a thud, wincing in pain.
